Had a terrible experience there. Here is the story: I recently moved to MA from NY, havent gotten a MA license yet (because technically I need to live here for 6 months before I can request one). Usually my NY ID is not a problem. I have been to places that have signs on the door that say "We do not accept out of state IDs" - I totally understand that and when I encounter that I turn around and go somewhere else. This place has no such sign, in fact I have purchased from this place before on multiple occasions with no issues. BUT this time what the man at the check-out line did was unacceptable. He flat out accused me of handing him a fake ID, in front of another employee and 3 customers. I was so shocked I wasnt sure how to respond. So I said "I know NY IDs look much different than MA ones but here Ill show you copies of my passport and birth certificate to verify my name and birthday. So after examining those for a good minute he still accused me of lying... I am a 26 year old working professional trying to buy a bottle of wine after a hard days work.... if he had said "Sorry we dont accept out of state IDs" - that would have been fine.... but to accuse me of forgery in front of customers is just inappropriate and a poor example to set for their business.

Same awful experience as another potential customer. I live in Massachusetts (attend school, pay taxes/registration, even voted here), however Ive kept my ID from my home state of Hawaii. I know most people dont see Hawaii IDs, however most people know that Hawaii is part of the US. I guess the person up at the front didnt know that and asked if I had my passport on me (wtf?). Trying to be lighthearted and funny, I said, "I usually keep my passport on me, but I dont have it on me today." In a really hostile manner, he said "this aint happening," as if I was trying to pull a fast one on him and then quickly pushed the items I brought to the register to the side. Hopefully customer service improves there, because it looks like they have quite a good selection. As it stands though, this place would do well to teach employees how to employ tact and common courtesy. It may not be fair to fault the entire store for the actions of one ignorant and ill-mannered individual, but unfortunately such an interaction does warrant the review. 1 out 5.

A liquor store with a true personality. Two locations, West Boylston St near QCC and Grafton Street at the shopping center. Dimitri V the owner is knowledgeable and carries so many varieties. If you want to know whats new or trending in wines or liquors...this is the place to go. And on Friday night, Dimitri, Dr. Liquid, will entertain you with special selections of wines from all over the world and USA. I highly recommend it and you give the local guy the business too.

Great selection of wine, beer, and spirits, though wine is the obvious focus for the store. Jim is great, very knowledgable, and helpful for navigating their impressive selection. They also consistently have the best wine tasting around on Friday nights.

This place has a much better craft beer selection than you might imagine. The staff is knowledgeable of its beer and wines.
