Not good, not good at all. They broke my PS4. It was brand new, the only issue was that a prong was bent within the HDMI port. When I picked it up the system was scratched to hell, to the point that I thought it was someone elses. Thats OK... well, at least in the sense that I was willing to get past it. Upon hooking the unit up it was clear they incorrectly soldered the HDMI port to the motherboard within; everything was working, yet the port was slanted upwards. It was obvious that the positioning was causing stress on the motherboard. Ten minutes after turning it on, controller in hand, I hear a loud snap from the system (along with the screen going blank). When I go to check the port, its snapped, slanted downward, and you could just move it up and down with no effort. It was obvious what had happened. I took it back and they checked it again. I had waited a few days... because I was busy... but upon returning I was told it couldnt be fixed because there was extensive damage inside, around the port. Thats only because they incorrectly set the piece and the motherboard snapped because it was too tight/angled incorrectly. It couldnt be fixed because of the problem they caused. The original "fix" also took about a week and a half, and they charge about $25 more than average. I asked if theyd do it for $100 and they did, because even at that price theyre only about average. They dont call you back when they say they will either. I had to chase them. Just really got totally screwed by this place. I was also told that because I waited a few days it was "definitely my fault." So if theres an issue, make sure you get bring it back immediately, apparently waiting a few days means youve spent that time scheming...

I brought my Macbook Pro into elitex on 12/23/13 to see if my corrupted harddrive that housed my portfolio (I am a photography student) could be salvaged. I was quoted $75 by the owner tony and assured their would be no charge if the restoration was impossible. I made it crystal clear the contents of the hd were my life and were not expendable. He gave me an ETA of a week and I left feeling for the first time in days relief. I called the following week and was informed tony doesnt work holidays or weekends at that he hasnt started to work on my laptop and that "It will take longer if you call me cause I have to get the phone". WTF!? OK, I phone him 4 days later to ask for a progress update and work has yet to begun and he has the nerve to say "youre not patient", 5 days after his original estimate. 4 days later I get a call and my Pro is ready for pickup. Tony assures me the restoration was a success and I strut out the front door happy to have my life back. I get home and boot up my Macbook and NO photographs are found on my internal! He restored my drive alrite, a factory restore that wiped every project and paper from the last 3 years. I rushed back to the shop and the owner feigned ignorance when I voiced my complaint. Needless to say Im taking him in small claims court. Avoid elitex at all costs, the owner is a hack.

Useless! Look elsewhere if you have anything that needs more than the simplest repairs. All I needed was a battery installed but before I could even ask, the "tech" said no - too much work. Really? I already had the device open and the replacement battery. If you cant remove a battery and take 5 minutes to solder in a new one, why claim that you can repair products? If you need someone to install software or update your anti-virus because youre too lazy to do it yourself, this is the place for you. For repairs, look elsewhere! UPDATE: Interesting response to my review but par for the course for this place, apparently. Experts in customer relations they are clearly not. I never said the repairers were "lazy" - try reading more carefully. If simply replacing a battery is your definition of "damaged beyond repair", I rest my case. Also, I borrowed a friends soldering kit and finished installing the battery myself. I guess I had foolishly assumed you would have that equipment and ability in your electronics repair shop.

I took my wifes computer into Elite X Computers and told Tony that it was running "slower than molases in the winter time " (Quote from The Outlaw Josey Wales)". He said give me two days and ill have it running like new. Well, in two days i got a telephone call telling me that my wifes computer was all set. I went into the shop to pick up the computer but my eye caught a laptop for sale for $295 (Used/rebuilt). I asked tony if he could give me a break on the price seeing that i brought in my wifes computer to him for repairs. Needless to say he gave me a break on the price of the laptop. When i got home i hooked up my wifes computer and the laptop. My wife loged into her computer and I into the laptop. Well after one minute both my wife and myself were very happy with the performace of both computers. Elite X Computers Managed and owned by Tony Stoychev won me over as a customer for life. My wife and i would like to thank Tony for giving us fast computers.

I brought in an Asus T100HA convertible tablet/netbook, that I was told by "The Other Guys" had a dead SSD. I knew that could not be true. (The machine was in perfect working condition, just before I attempted a factory reset, as I had sold the unit. There is a known issue with windows 10 and factory restore problems. Now I know, and so do you!). Found EliteX Computers on a google search and they were immediately able to expertly diagnose the need for a fresh install of W10. (SSD was FINE! ) Their shop is clean, well organized. Their service professionals are outstanding, friendly and easy to work with. They take the time to explain all your options and recommend the best one for you. These people KNOW what theyre doing. If you want experienced, reasonably priced tech repair, of any type, this THE place to go. (Ive also heard they build some pretty sweet gaming systems so if your in the market, definitely check these guys out!).

I recently overheated my PS3 (they call the issue YLOD = yellow light of death) and it would not turn back on. Its my lifeline to not only videogames but also to viewing dvds, bluray, and netflix as well. I researched on the internet and found that I could ship it in to Sony to have it fixed for $150.00 and it would take a minimum of 6 weeks. I read a few reviews (all positive) on EliteX and decided to give it a shot since they have their no risk offer, if they cant fix it they wont charge you. They had my PS3 fixed within 3 days and its now working like brand new. On top of that it was the same price of $150.00 which I think is great considering the faster turn around time. I will definitely use them again in the future for any hardware issues and will recommend them to anyone needing computer repairs.
