I honestly wish this mall the best of luck in the future, because its lost a lot of stores in its lifetime... Macys will soon be the only anchor as Sears is closing, and Walmart was the other anchor before they rebuilt and detached themselves from the mall. There was also Apex, but they closed in 2001 and while the mall entrance was sealed, the building itself has sat vacant ever since. Other than that theres a few nice stores left like Yankee Candle, GameStop, Olympia Sports, etc as well as mini golf and a bounce house place for kids. The food court only has an Italian and Chinese place as far as I can remember. Its not a total waste of time to visit this mall, but with several missing stores and a dated look there are better options like the Dartmouth Mall. Also worth noting they are trying to sell the mall currently.

Not a bad mall, but theres definitely better ones in the area like Silver city galleria and Dartmouth mall. This mall has definitely lost a lot of stores over the years, Im gonna say 75% of there stores are vacant. But with that being said, youll still find a few stores here that most malls have such as old navy, bath and body works, game stop and spencers. FYE is there also, but is closing for good in a few weeks. The food court is a ghost town with maybe 2 or 3 stores open. Honestly, this mall needs a revamp, I feel like Im walking through a 1980s building. If the mall gets revamped, it would have a chance of coming back to life, if not the mall will probably just lose more stores and eventually close.

The quintessential example of a relic from a bygone Era. The days of shopping malls have slowly declined over the years, thanks to Amazon, and few show this as much as Swansea. Every year, more and more stores at this mall close their doors for good. They added a Walmart, I guess they hoped it may revitalize the place since everyone loves Walmart. I dont think it worked. Aside from the basics, this mall is also very small and there were never too many stores to begin with. I only give two stars due to the ample parking and ease of access.

Well, once upon a time I worked at store that is now closed for good, it was still somewhat ok then, I went in as recently as a week ago and the entire place is a dying breed. However for the stores still located inside, it does make a good atmosphere of calm shopping without the crazy hustle and bustles of other malls. Also they have great holiday display for taking photos with certain holiday events, such as Christmas, easter. They have fun areas for children of all ages to play, at cost, but that is great.

this is a neat little place. best kids area than any other mall. bounce houses, mini golf, arcade. the food court is very small though but decent and only one bathroom area for the whole mall. the stores are awesome good variety. definitely worth going here. it seems like they used to be more popular judging by all the empty spots in the mall. will be going back w my kids for the bounce houses.

Swansea mall is starting to show its age and losing the battle against Internet shopping. It still has anchors like Sears and Macys, but the interior stores range from large chains to local businesses. There are also many for lease spots and a lack of customer service personnel show the management of the malls lack of care for the once proud mall.

Absolute sad state of affairs! over 50% of stores closed and no prospect of replacements. These owners have refused to put money into this mall for a long time. The parking lots and driveways around the mall are Riddle with pot holes. There is really no reason to go to this mall. Walmart is behind the mall but no long attached to the mall!

Its almost empty. Really no reason to go there besides the shoe dept since they have good deals. Fye is gone, sears is gone, Regis is gone. Its more of a crappy gym w no actual workout equipment. Nobody goes there to shop anymore. Its now getting taken over by workout places and such. It is odd to me, seeming its a mall, not a gym.

It was once the largest mall within 50 miles of here. Walmart was a big anchor store but they built a new building right next to the mall but not connected. Since then, more and more of the smaller shops have closed as there is much less visitors to the mall. The future of the Swansea Mall is uncertain. Many of the stores are empty.

The Swansea Mall seems to be losing a lot of its business, which is incredibly disappointing. It used to have more places to eat and more places to shop than it does now, which you can easily see by the permanently empty spaces scattered throughout the mall. It is such a shame because Ive always enjoyed shopping there.

My Granddaughter and I have been visiting this mall for 5yrs now. Its our "thing". She is 6. We like it b/c it is convenient. Just the right amount of stores. Has every kind of store you would actually need and not over kill. Its more relaxing than the hustle, and over crowding of teenagers just hanging around. Mellow

When I think about what this Mall used to be and what it has come to be, its sad. The lay out is nice and for the most part is very up to date. However the lack of stores and empty store fronts is depressing. I try to shop here, but its difficult to justify when there are so few stores that interest me.

The mall is very clean and friendly staff members the food court dont have much there Dunkin and a pizza shop and Chinese place ...

Swansea Mall used to be a hotspot, but has been slowly decaying over the years. Lots of stores shut down, etc. Theres still some stuff here, like jewelry stores. Unfortunately, its pretty unpredictable as to what will be around during your next visit.

Plenty of parking. A decent amount of stores. It gets the job done. I would give it 5 stars but there are better malls within a 30min drive. Also this mall is a little run down. Stores are constantly and closing and strange ones opening in their place.

I went there today and FYE and Sears are closing. this is worse than the Steeplegate Mall in Concord and Silver City Galleria in Taunton. This mall is on its way out. Macys will be its only anchor. What will happen to Toys r us if this mall goes too?

Just needs love... I believe management brought this place to the ground... I would have managed this place a million times better and it wouldnt be the way it is now. Dartmouth Mall is great but Swansea Mall should be AWESOME!! sadly its not. R.I.P

Very quiet the crowd tends to go to Wal-Mart. I dont know why they took it out in the first place they could have made a super Wal-Mart in there. Knock down a few walls to the stores that are close together and out of business in bam.
