Target in South Easton MA is easily the best department store around, it literally has everything you need in one place, from groceries, to pet supplies/food, clothing, toys, household items/cleaning items, decor, furniture, to school supplies and now CVS Pharmacy inside. The staff is 9 times out of 10 very friendly and helpful, the prices are very reasonable (even better if you use the Target app on your phone to save additional $), and the shelves are always stocked, theyre usually never out of anything that you need. The hours are great, they open very early and close fairly late as well, and its pretty much a one stop shop for all of your needs, maybe aside from alcohol, although I think some Target stores now have this as well, I dont doubt this will come to this store as well. The store has a higher end clientele it appears than say, Walmart, which is always nice, and the crowds are usually non-existent for some strange reason, it always seems like I can just breeze right through my shopping experience. I give this store a 5 star rating in comparison to other department stores overall, this one takes the cake!

So heres the deal: I love target. They have just enough of what I like/need, the store is clean, the people are friendly, and their hours are reasonable. The only thing keeping my review from being 5 stars is the huge disparity between their online and in-store systems. Several times now, Ive been to the store looking for an item that the website tells me is available, and when I get there, theyre all gone. Heres where my issue lies, each time this has happened, Ive asked a staff member to help me, and Im always given the same "Hm thats weird, it says we have 2 of them. Sorry about that." response. Now I know its not the fault of the staff members but why, in 2015, are these inventory systems not updated live? If one is sold, remove it from inventory. Its a very simple concept. It will also give a better account of what is available in-store when searching online. Its very frustrating as a consumer.

Ive had pretty great experiences at this target so I was pretty thrown off today when I called asking if they carried glasses for the eclipse. I got as far as say "do you happen to carry" then I was cut off. by the store associate just saying No. I get it, Im sure a lot of people were calling and it can get frustrating but I could have been calling about anything. I didnt even get to finish my question before being dismissed. This just really rubbed me the wrong way and I would expect more from targets customer service.

The item on the web site, which said there were three on the shelf, was out of stock. I also hate the return set up where you have to wait in line behind a customer making a purchase. There was also no help on the floor.

Clean store, pricing is usually quite a bit above the Plainville store. Use their price matching on anything over 10 bucks to ensure youre not getting screwed.
