You have to have half a brain when you go into this place. There are actually some very decent tools for short money. Their $16 digital calipers are almost as accurate as my $100 Mitutoyo. When my friend got divorced she had no tools at all and a house to look after...so I took the pile of 20% off coupons they send me every week, went in there a couple of times and got her a huge set of all the basics for $150, right down to sandpaper and zip ties. Look, if you work at a professional machine shop or garage, this isnt the place to go. But, if you need a tool you only use 3 times a year, or an extra set to keep in the shed to adjust the lawnmower, this is the place to go.

This place will lure you in with great prices but dont be fooled. You will get home, you will plug in your nice new power tool and it will not turn on. You will try to exchange it and you will be denied. Dont be burned people! Poor quality products are to be expected based on the price, poor quality service is inexcusable. These people are crooks that sell defective tools are deny returns and exchanges. Do not do business with them. Pay extra at Lowes or Home Depot and get something of quality that works.

Went to the store to exchange a plastic service cart that had a broken piece in it. I call ahead the next day to ensure availability, after driving 45 minutes I arrive to a store with zero in stock and a manager who accused me of lying about calling and was overly aggressive. While also refusing to check other stores for item inventory. Nice manager selection harbor frieght, I got away without being attacked by the manager but the next customer may not be so lucky!

I spent $125.00 on a transmission jack that broke the first time I tried to use it. I brought it back for an exchange or store credit, but was denied. Now I am out $125.00 and I have no jack to put my car back together. This place sells garbage and refuses to compensate when it breaks, that is the textbook definition of a scam.
