I live on Sacramento St., so Im a little biased, but this place has better prices than the other beer / wine / liquor shops in the Cambridge area. It also has everyones favorite cheaper beers like PBR and High Life, Beast (ew), etc, for almost the same price as youd find at Blanchards in Allston (among other students around here, known as the standard for low prices ;) ). Not a *great* beer selection (maybe 20 feet of floor-to-ceiling coolers), but good enough. Also devotes half the store to wines, from $5 to however much youre willing to pay. And of course, they have the hard stuff, for a fair price.

Not actually open all the way to 11pm. I just wanted to have a glass of wine & relax after working a 13 hour day on concrete floors. Literally ran to make it before closing time. Got there at 10:49. Closed. Door locked & lights off. Guy was inside but pretending not to see me. Its really effing simple: youre clearly free to close at 10:45 if you want. But dont lie & say youre open until 11 if youre not open until 11.

I showed up at 10:40pm on a Saturday night and even though the owner was in the store he wouldnt open the door for me even though his online and posted store front hours say they are open to 11pm. On top of that he will occasionally intentionally overcharge what you are purchasing. Definitely suggest going to the next closest place..

The guys who work there are lovely- theyre super friendly, and theyre willing to go out of their way to help you out. They also stay open later than any other place around, and their selections are decent, for the prices. Ill definitely be back.

My learner permit expired June 6 2015. I Was refused service on July 11 by reason of an out of date ID; had ID present and am clearly of age (24 yeara old as of the cards expiration date. Outrageously overzealous and anti business.

I tried to return a case of empty beer bottles. The clerk said he could not take them unless I washed them. I first thought he was messing with me but he actually meant it.
