It is the only Stop & Shop in the area and further that has cheaper prices for virtually everything. Hingham, South Bay (Dorchester), Freeport St. (Dorchester), Weymouth, Southern Artery (Quincy), Whitman, Abington... they are ALL more equally more expensive for the same kinds of products/groceries (unless its on sale, then its the same price everywhere). Example: All Ice Cream - i.e. Breyers Ice Cream @ North Quincy: $3.99, @ All Others (listed above): $4.99. Jimmy Dean Lean Breakfast Sandwiches @ NQ: $6.99, @ Others: $7.99. Same thing with Crackers, Protein/Breakfast Bars, Chips, Popcorn, etc... Also, its the only 24/hr (M–F) store from the South Shore to Boston. Revere is 24/hr (M–F) on the North Shore. The selection and availability of products are also pretty decent. Not quite as good as Southern Artery and I often need to bounce around to 2 or 3 different stores in order to find a specific variety of food that used to be at NQ regularly, but hasnt been restocked for typically several months at a time. (Despite efforts to inform them of this). Tons of self-check outs too. And always has plenty of their different reusable bags available. (Hingham, for example, is constantly out of them). They also sell alcohol at NQ. Others do too, but not all. Boston stores do not.

This is THE WORST store to get a hold of. I called the main line and pressed 9 to "contact the store manager" and it rang for 3-5 minutes. A woman then answered and put me on hold within 15 seconds. I then held for 3 more minutes before someone came to the phone and hung up. I called the main line back FOUR times and sat for 5 minutes each while all it did was ring with no one picked up. I am currently on hold for the FIFTH time and its been 7 minutes. TERRIBLE customer service. And my company uses them for all their big orders???? HUGE mistake.

I keep trying other Super Stop and Shops that are more convenient to my commute. Only Newport Ave. Has it all. Fish monger, butcher shop, bakery, florist, produce all exceptional. And the topper is that it is busy enough that dairy, and bread is constantly being stocked. Really the whole store has great turn around leaving fresh product every where. Ive stopped checking dates. There is virtually no need.

I had a horrible experience at customer servive department this morning she was swearing to another employee talking about one of the cashier how shes late everyday and then thought she was going to take someone sfter me i when i said hi i am ready the customer behind me had to tell her no take her like she should cause i was first fair is fair very unprofessional

Great selections of products n the quality is uusually top notch n 100% !!! ...just need more/faster cashiers !!! Why are the the slowest people manning the express lanes first off lol ...but u really could get a few more employees on reggies and in the deli...ur deli workers are slow , slow, slow !!! Otherwise great store !!!

I love this SS&S, they have a great selection of everything, which can be overwhelming. They also sell wine an beer, but not to out off state residents. I was disappointed today with their meat selection. Lots of the beef had reached or looked like it had reached its date.

The collection is excellent but the wait time for checkout are incredible. It takes the same time to checkout as to shop in the store. What a wastage of time. But again, the grocery collection is very good including fair selection of organic stuff.

Id give them five stars if they could make their self scanner devices work reliably. Too many dead zones in the store (same problem with the phone app). Otherwise, the best supermarket in the area. Well trained staff, friendly, and super clean.

Lots of varieties. Affordable price, citizens Bank branch and ATM inside the market. Price slightly up compared to Hannaford and Market Basket. With stop and shop card, you can get special discounts on many items. You can get it for free there.

Didnt put a stick between my items and previously customers items when checking out.The Cashier yelled at me with bad language at least twice,and were ordered to separate the items ourselves. Bad customer service but get very good products.

Horrible customer service. Long lines, with the registers very under-staffed. Some of the clerks are mind-bogglingly slow. The up-side: open 24 hrs, pretty big and sells everything. But still, every visit is a painful experience.

Very clean and organized. It is always hectic, due to the amount of people quincy hosts. I find that the fruits are a bit on the smaller side here in this stop and shop, but otherwise everything else is acceptable.

Great stop and shop!! I come here all the time and the fruits are always fresh! Also this is one on the few SS&S that has a liquor section. It has everything from fine wines to Mikes hard lemonade.

The prices are pretty good but its usually pretty crowded the aisles are hard to navigate and never enough cashiers. Plus the customer service desk always has a huge line

Standard stop and shop. It was pretty unappetizing to see them refill the chicken salad bowl at the deli from what looked like a painting bucket filled with chicken salad
