Horrible. Disgusting... I am at a loss for words ...I went to the store for ice cream. There was a big sign that says 2 for $7 for Ben and Jerrys ice cream. When I got the self checkout register it is ringing $5.19 a piece. I pointed that to the attention of the floor supervisor. She went to check it and as I was following her she said to stay at the register because she is the only there which does not make any sense. So I obliged . I just thought for $ 3 people would show some integrity. Nope. She came back and no it is not on sale and there was no sign there. I went back and checked the signed has disappeared. Now we know for sure why she told to stay at the register. I feel a good corporation should be able to hire people with some integrity. The only reason this is getting a 1 star it is because they do not have a lower one.

avoid this store if you can. fine for eggs or coffee but any so called " fresh" fruits and vegetables are not. an employee confirmed that pastries sold here have been stocked elsewhere first and so are never fresh. one major entrance with an often broken automatic door has now been closed and converted to "emergency exit only". This seems unsafe for customers to me and would only happen in " the hood " in my opinion. be aware.

Still reluctant to shop there. Have noticed some improvement. However, theres still room for improvement. The supervisors in the front are always helpful. The young employees need to do less talking to each other and concentrate more on the customers in front of them. This would reduce errors in ringing and customers standing at the courtesy booth.

Historically, the worst Boston has to offer. The community deserves better than this. Stop and Shop, you have failed this community for too long. What will take to clean up this horrible excuse for a supermarket? People will continue to come, because they have to feed their families. Dont think, though, that your neglect goes un-noticed.

I do not like how the target marketing in this particular store compared to other stores are catered to unhealthy choices directly at the door as soon as you enter the store but the same chain in other locations in the suburb the doors open directly into the produce section tons of healthy choices and fresh

Go to the supermarket rate times and she know to go to her school by herself with her friends she is 100 years old she notes to play soccer ball at her feet and she is a ice skater on the world she likes rainbows princesses and unicorns and she like hearts hearts and flowers

This stop n shop has tons of deals compare to other stop n shop there no other like it. You save more here than any other stop n shop. However, I suggest buying cakes or any meat product in other places that are clean. This place is good for packages products only.

Clean store that carries everything I need. Love their sale flier and coupons. One problem to warrant one less star is that the coupon items are not clearly marked. Too many times I get to the cashier only to find out I dont have the right item to match the coupon.

Stop & Shop is just convenient because its close to my house they do have a good deals on soda one week is all I have to do next week its all the Coke products thats when I go there for they have some really good deals but other than that its just convenient

This is the one that was on the news bc it was shut down after customers saw evidence of dead Rats or mice and it was found to be true along with feces from said animals found in the bakery among other places, also they were eating the food through the bags!

This stop and shop has gotten better over the years. They just need to do everything over. I only go there if I need something quick. Theres a really nice lady name Michelle that works at self check out. She so sweet and helpful.

Its our local big supermarket. Its got an okay selection, is pretty crowded. None of the fancy features (salad and olive bar, etc), but it does have fruit out thats free for kids under 10. That buys my loyalty!

I absolutely hate this stop & shop they almost never have all Im looking for and some of the employee staff are rude and unhelpful. If I had a vehicle I would stay far away from this stop & shop location

The produce and branded baked goods are never fresh and they dont stock the store often enough. I only go there out of desperation! I have it an extra star because the employees are awesome

Once inside its organized and stocked well .. good for most food shopping needs .. but the parking can get congested at times do to shared parking from other stores in the complex ..

The employees are not heavily vested go do what is required to please a customer. They do enough to stay open but not enough go tell your friends about. Its a there and available.

Easy to get in and out at the South Bay location. I find things are fresher than the Grove Hall location. B plus this location has a bank inside.
