Called Serious Cycles after a handlebarr extension on my bike (Montague) came apart as I was riding (luckily uphill) and after googling an install video of the device it quickly became apparent it was improperly installed by a bike shop in Belmont. I live in Plymouth and no way I wanted to make 2 round trips to Belmont so I called Serious (talked to Seth) and they werent familiar with this particular handlebar extension nor were they a dealer for my bike, but suggested I bring the bike in, which I did. Seth quickly determined the device was indeed improperly installed and suggested a different type. He removed the old one and installed the new one while I waited (which really surprised me...how many times do people actually help right away, generally you have to drop off) Within 20 minutes I was on my way with the bike in better shape than it ever was. Great service and pricing, I highly recommend Serious Cycles. AAAA++++

My derailleur was not shifting correctly so I was searching for a bike repair shop. Based on reviews, i went to Serious Cycles which was quite a long distance away. Boy was I glad I came to Serious Cycles! I met Seth and he understood the problem right away, and proposed a course of action. Not only that, he realized I came from far away so he offered to work on it right away so that I dont have to make a second trip to pick up the bike. Where would you find that kind of service these days?! After a cup of coffee down the street, I came back and the bike was fixed. Not only that, we identified an issue with the kickstand and THAT was fixed as well. Everything was done perfectly and for LESS than the estimate. Wow! If you value quality work and great service for very reasonable cost, Serious Cycles is the place and Seth is the man!

Great store and really good service. My old road bike had developed a crack in the frame so I brought it to Serious Cycles to have it looked at. The guys at Serious Cycle called the manufacturer and got me a replacement frame which is much more than I expected. Additionally, this was the perfect time to do the upgrades that I had wanted to do, so I talked things over with Seth and came up with a plan for some component upgrades. A couple days later I had an effectively brand new bike. I am very happy with the experience at Serious Cycles and will definitely be going back.

I drove all the way from Hyannis after visiting this stores web site and found the staff to be very helpful and informative. I was tired of going to bike shops and finding nothing in stock or shops that special order everything. I wanted to try the bikes, not see them in a catalog. This shop was exactly what I had in mind. Not only did this shop have a great selection of bikes in stock, but I found the bike I wanted and saved $100.00 compared to my local shop. Well worth the drive!

Seth & Co at Serious Cycle are amazing. They refurbished a classic 37 yr old bicycle I havent been able to part with for me. Picked it up today, and Im blown away. I never expected it to come out as good as it did. If it werent for the old-timey, classic 10-speed frame, Id think it was brand new. This is a 27" frame/27" wheel Marukin that cant be found today. These guys are super. Ill never do business with anyone but them after this. Thanks guys!

I have brought my bike here twice. Each time I have been, they completely overcharge for every service. For example, I needed a new chain and a tube. After about 4 labor charges, the total was almost $50. Then, after getting the bike home, I realized they put the tire on wrong, so it scraped against the frame. You might as well buy another bicycle before getting yours fixed here, because the cost of repairs will nearly pay for a brand new one.

Im not sure about the 1 star review below. I ride about 3000 miles a year with a group of people that average the same. This shop supports us with quick and super reliable service. Their prices are in line with everyone elses. No attitudes here. Seth and Jeff are friendly guys that know their stuff and make strong recommendations. I wont go anywhere else.

These guys are absolute pros. My friends and I went to MA for a long bike trip and my 20+ year old bikes derailleur was completely destroyed. The staff immediately took the challenge in replacing a part that hasnt been made in years while explaining everything to me--all at a reasonable price. I only wish bike shops around me were as courteous.
