I had a not very friendly customer experience. Called a few days before Thanksgiving to verify hours on Thanksgiving eve when I had promised many grandchildren a trip to the toy store, and was told they would keep regular hours until 6 PM. Arrived that afternoon with a carload of children to read a sign that said they decided to close at 4 PM. Fortunately several other customers who were arriving and were similarly disappointed noted there was another toy store in Newton center.

Lovely store - great selection of toys, art supplies and projects, and so on. The staff is really friendly and helpful. Because its an independent store, its a little pricier than something like target (or buying on amazon), but not by a ton. Were fans.
