I stopped going to HD a while ago due to poor customer service. Unfortunately, my husband and I were in a search for tile, and regardless of where we visited, we could not find one that we liked more than the ones at HD. When loading up the time on the cart, my husband tried to get help cutting the strapping (all boxes were banded together). The first individual he approached stated that he worked in a different department. My husband stated, "I just need a knife". The employee was then willing to lend his knife to him as opposed to cutting the bands himself. No big deal, but after it was discovered that more bands needed to be cut, he tried to flag down another employee, who simply replied - before any questions were asked - "NO". He again asked for a knife and proceeded to cut the bands while the employee started explaining that he was tired so he couldnt help him load the 900+ lbs of tile. Once we got to checkout, we asked about the 10% coupon (which we couldnt find due to having just moved (the reason HD sent it to us)), resulting in the manager coming over and essentially calling us liars. We were making a $1600 purchase, yet this manager thought it wise to potentially blow the sale. I wanted to just leave it at the register, but my husband reminded me that this was the place that had what we wanted, talked me out of it. Bad experience. Will never return to this HD or any other. Now I remember why I go to Lowes.

First, the associate was so busy selling me his private spot removal services, he wrote up the order incorrectly. I told him I would remove the carpet and he didnt get that correct. He messed up the schedule to measure the room. I told him I work during the day and he scheduled them to come when I was at work yet provided me with another date. The measuring company kept saying they could schedule it late in the day and put me on the end of the list but they kept finishing by noon when I was at work (twice this occurred) and when they couldnt make it, I had to reschedule 2 weeks out. Thus 3 months to get the room measured. Four attempts and finally measured. Then while waiting for stuff to get measured because I didnt purchase the carpet, I lost the 50% sale price. Then they canceled my order when I was out of town for a week. I finally went with Empire. What a headache. I spent hours setting up new appointments only to never get the carpet installed.

I wanted to share a great buying experience yesterday at the Natick Home Depot store. I knew what I wanted to buy a Kohler pedestal sink and faucet. Usually it is difficult to find someone to answer questions but within 5 minutes Josiah offered his assistance and it was above and beyond the level of services Ive received from major stores in a long time. He was so knowledgeable about this product, the pros/cons, considerations, and wasnt afraid to give his opinion in a productive way, not forceful, worked with me until I bought what I needed. In addition, when I went to pay for the sink and accessories, I was given several payment options, which in the long run saved me around 20%. I thought it worthy of a write-up as too often these days, it is almost impossible to find knowledgeable willing to spend time to help us consumers. I will not hesitate to go back again.

I had to call this location for a customer and the women who answered the phone immediatley had an attitude regarding the line of questioning I had ( I work for a bank and the customer card was declined by Home Depot but the transaction was approved in our system ) I attempted to explian to the person who answered the phone that the mutual customer wanted to make sure that she would not be charged for the merchandise that she was told she could not have. The women on the phone from home depot just placed me on hold without saying a word and then someone else a young man picked up the line and then told me I had to speak to a manager and then just hung up!!!!!! Needless to say I will never shop at any Home Depot ever again, canceling my Home Depot Credit Card and our mutual customer will now also never shop there again, Way to go Home Depot!!!!!

Absolutely terrible customer service. I was looking for a casing moulding, and the store showed 1900lf of the material. Upon arrival I asked a store representative for assistance locating the item. She explained she could not help as it was in the door and windows department. Once speaking with doors and windows the representative there explained he could not look something up as he was designing windows for a customer. He then paged Mark, who never showed up. Instead I asked the front desk for help and the representative there assisted me in finding out that the materials would not show up until Thursday afternoon. Then Mark came strolling down the isle and said our computers are never correct.

They shipped the wrong pavers, didnt seem that interested in fixing the problem, had to call back a number of times. They got the wrong number of boxes of flooring but fixed that. Got wiring from a guy in electrical for a dryer, except that, when I finally looked at it (which I should have done at the store) there was no way it could have been used for a dryer. Update: As far as the pavers go, its starting to seem like a Monty Python routine, four calls and the guy at the pro desk is unable to reach the guy in delivery. I called him this morning and he wasnt sure Id spoken to him, only admitted that when I knew his last name. The one thing hes careful about is to not apologize.

I am a Home Depot customer for fifteen years with no issues. Buy today. Had a 4th of July party at home and bought a gas tank for the grill machine at Home Depot in Natick, Ma around 2 pm. At 5 pm on the same during the party the grill went off because the gas tank was out of gas. I called customer service at 5:30 pm, the party was ruined and the associate who answered the phone laughed saying I took the wrong tank. At Home Depot, the tanks filled with gas had a "blue cap" and I took one of them and as a proof I still have the blue cap in my pocket. What really bothers me is a ruined 4th of july party, a bad product and a poor customer service.

Manager doesnt belong to this place should be doing something else i hated the fact that i bought a tub in Watertown and he refused to take back but he appreciates the 300.000 i buy in a year he just couldnt help me making a call and checking if the tub had some damage i had to take the last one that Watertown store. Had which had some damage i also took pics in the store so i have over 113 rent i spend 60% of the many i make and this guy didnt care about hey whoever you are go manage a dunking dunats you dont belong to this kind of business
