We paid our money in full on May 30, 2017 and got our car on June 7, 2017. The internet salesperson and the salesperson are not honest. We visited this car dealer on May 30, 2017. Before the visit, I called to ask if they have any black 2017 Honda CRV EX in stock. The internet salesperson Melissa answered yes, and we scheduled an appointment. When we arrived on Tuesday, May 30, we were helped by another salesperson Edgar. He was not very patient with us. He told us there was no Honda CRV in stock. They sold all the CRVs on Memorial Day. Then we decided to leave. If they don’t have the car, there is no reason for us to stay there. Edgar kept us to wait and he went to talk with a general manager. He then came back saying that they will have the car two or three days later. We can pay today and get the car later. We answered we will go to another dealer, they can call me when they have the car and we will come back if we have not purchased one. Edgar went to talk with the general manger again. The general manager came talk with us. I showed him the price I quoted from another Honda dealer in Cambridge and told him there are about 15 Honda dealers near Boston, we come to this place because it is close to where we live. I told him the color does not matter. The general manager then made a phone call to ask if there is any CRV in stock. We waited another about 30 mins until Edgar told us that it is our lucky day that they have a CRV in stock. It is olive green which is almost black. We then tested the car and asked Edgar if we pay in cash when we can drive the car back. Edgar said tomorrow. We told him we are in a hurry, so if we can not drive the car back today, we will go to another dealer. He said he will try to make it ready today. After the salesperson, we went to talk with the financial manager. The financial manager said it is impossible for us to get the car today because there are about 70 cars in line waiting to be registered. But he said we can get the car on Wed or Thursday. We said fine and paid the cash. They said they will call us as soon as the car is ready. We waited two days, and the car was still not ready. We needed a car to go places. We called on Thursday and was told that Edgar was not at work. The general manager told us that the certificate of origin is missing so we have to wait for more days. We were very angry and told him we will call our bank to get our money back. The general manager was upset and gave us a loaner car for use before we get our new car. We eventually got our car on June 7, eight days after we paid in full. Honda cars are very good but the dealers are not as good. Just keep in mind they might fool you when you buy cars there. I don’t want to deal with those people ever again.

Ive been a regular customer of The Honda Stores service department for approximately three years. The service staff provides excellent customer service; I always feel like Im in good hands. They have a nice waiting area and a quality selection of complimentary beverages and snacks as well as vending machines. The kids room is a nice perk for moms with small children. Even more important than any of those things, the staff never pushes needless additional services or unnecessary repairs. They go further, though, helping customers plan for future necessary services and repairs by providing estimates of costs and assisting with projecting timelines for completion (very helpful for a person on a budget). Recently, I needed a repair, but the cause was initially a bit of a mystery. The diagnostic technician combed the electrical and mechanical components of the climate control system, uncovering the cause in only a couple hours. Seth, from the service desk, schedule a repair appointment and reserved me a complimentary large vehicle that could accommodate four car seats. When I arrived on appointment day, the car was waiting at the exit bay with seats pushed forward to make way for the car seats. That was a nice surprise and much appreciated! Seth got all the paperwork done quickly and made sure I made it out the door feeling at ease with a car I was unfamiliar with. In under two hours, the repair was done and Seth let me know right away. When I arrived, Seth immediately pulled the van up next to the rental and opened the doors so Id have an easier task getting the car seats back in my van. He even offered to help!. These little details go unnoticed by some, but not by me. The best part, Seth personally checked to make sure my van was pushing out cold air, a necessity with a vehicle that has no windows in the back. Thank you Seth!

Hondas are great! I have owned them for decades and really like them. The buying experience at Ron Bouchards on the other hand was mind-bendingly terrible! Clearly the worst car buying experience of my life. It was an amazing painful experience. They messed up things from top to bottom. (It was almost becoming funny towards the end.) Everything from big things, e.g., the finance guy failing to deduct my deposit from the amount I owed, to little things, e.g., the guy that "detailed" the car leaving things like a prescription and pills of some sort scattered about. When the service department did the "certification" of the vehicle, they didnt even bother to pretend to do entire sections on the checklist (not even putting check marks in them) because, as it was explained to me by the head of service "I told the guy not to bother, since it had already been sold." (Things like the cabin air filter, which needed to be changed, had obviously not even been looked at.) OBTW the gas mileage I was told to expect - not even close. When I called to express my displeasure to the head manager (Mr. Knight) I got a very threateningly toned reply -- "We are _done_ with you." (I have never even considered getting a restraining order before. For a moment, I considered it in this case.) When I tried to talk to talk to Mr. Bouchard, I was told "He is on vacation and not expected back for another month and a half." (I have not heard from him since his return.) As recently as a couple of weeks ago I tried to contact Mr. Bouchard again (after hearing their ads about how great they think it is to do business "Rons way." is -- not so much from my experience.) After getting redirected to someone that reported to Mr. Knight, I am still waiting for Mr. Bouchards call. I am not holding my breath. ;( Consider yourself warned.

We recently purchased a 2017 Honda Civic hatchback from Ron Bouchards and we cannot say enough about our experience there! I started off working with Melissa Prochnow in Internet Sales, who was extremely informative, dedicated (she emailed me on her day off!) and beyond personable. When we decided to move forward with our purchase there, she set me up with Luke Kenefick who helped us with locating the car we wanted and purchasing it. Luke was so wonderful to work with - always patient, considerate and professional. We wanted a color that wasnt in stock, so Luke located it for us and we were very excited that it would be in the very next day! Luke helped us with all the paperwork for our insurance company and set us up with their wonderful Business Manager, Keith Burns to do our financing (we got an even lower rate than I had anticipated we could!) The day before we were supposed to pick up the car, Luke called because my insurance company had never faxed back the forms to the dealership that they had told me they would by end of day - so we wouldnt be able to pick up our car the following day as planned. Even though it was 100% the fault of OUR insurance company, Luke gave us a loaner car for the weekend so we didnt have to change any of our plans or go out of our way to pick up the car on Monday. This is our first experience working with Ron Bouchards and I am completely beyond impressed! Everyone we worked with was so genuinely wonderful, knowledgeable and professional - I cannot possibly recommend them enough!
