We visited the Ayer, MA Gervais Ford Dealership. John Delaney, the best car expert ever, aka Gervais Ford Salesman, looked for and gave us every discount possible, from a $500 Veteran discount to all of the incentive discounts available. He got us what we wanted, and at the price we could afford, in the shortest time possible. We walked away with a beautiful Platinum White 2017 Ford Escape Titanium! John went above and beyond with his service by assisting us with syncing our phones and contacts to the car, demonstrating how the Escape parks itself, beeps when too close to another car (radar in the side mirrors), demonstrating the navigation system, the secure keyless entry keypad, the hands free foot kicking motion to open the tailgate, and so many more features. He was so patient with us - a senior couple. We went to two other dealerships while pricing the 2017 Escape, and John Delaney and the Gervais Dealership gave us the best price. The other dealerships play the make you wait there all day game, but John was efficient, and got right down to business, helping us to complete our deal in the minimum amount of time, and with a gentle sense of humor. Matt in the Business Department was very friendly, and helped the deal complete in no time. The Service Department, especially the Quick Lane Department is exceptional. Weve used it in the past for oil changes on our 2014 Escape. Once, we had a small piece on the front underside of the car that came loose. They fixed it without charging us for putting a screw in. Any other place would have charged us for it. They are a true customer service dealership. We always leave Gervais with a smile on our face. :) George and Jacqueline Chaplin Fitchburg, MA Ps Gervais still sounds much prettier said the French way, instead of JARVIS. :)

Went to test drive an explorer and had the worst experience Ive ever had. Peter was the "sales" "mans" name if Id even call him that. I knew this was going to be a bad experience from the moment I stepped in the door but I figured maybe I could get a deal. Peter was the first person I FOUND to get to show me the car. Walked to his desk and he went and fetched the keys. Came back to the desk and with a very snarky remark of "you do realize this vehicle is 21k?" Granted being in my bottom half of my 20s maybe he didnt realize I make more then he does and driving up in a Porsche didnt make a difference I guess. Anyway after he said this I replied with a polite yes and he tossed me the keys. Yes tossed like a softball toss. Shocked I walked out to the suv, by myself of course, to see if it was something Id like to test drive. For 21k I was expecting something immaculate but it wasnt. So I figured maybe we could work out a deal that could be good for both of us so i decided to take it for a spin. Yeah that was by myself as well. When I returned back from the test drive we stood outside to talk about it. I said it was okay and is give him a reasonable offer because it had been sitting on the lot for 6 months. After giving my offer he said no, didnt shake my hand by the way, and returned into the dealership. I wasnt expecting him to accept my offer but I was in the ball park for negotiations but he just walked away. I gave them an opportunity for my business and they didnt even try.

I have been contemplating buying my 1st truck for a few years now. I have stopped into Gervais Ford from time to time and they were always courteous and helpful with all my questions. I never felt pressured and uncomfortable even when I was only “looking”. So when the time came for me to get serious and buy a truck, Gervais Ford was the 1st dealer I started the buying process with. I worked with the team at Gervais Ford and they went out of their way to get me the truck I wanted in terms of color combination, options packages, etc. Once we found the exact truck of my dreams, the Sales Manager and I agreed to a price that was competitive to the larger dealers. My post sales experience has been fantastic. The truck was delivered spotless and they did a nice job adding and installing a spray in bed liner and tonneau cover. I must say I was reluctant to switch from a BMW car to a truck. Boy, I regret waiting as long as I did to take the plunge. My F150 Lariat Super Crew is a real pleasure to drive. Thank you Gervais Ford for making my 1st truck (Ford) purchase as easy and enjoyable as it has been to date!

The people were nice enough and professional. The work was done no issue there. My issue is I wish they would just give me an honest assessment up front on time. Example, car dropped off night before we were told it wouldnt take that long. Great thanks. Well, around 3 we call, "Itll be done in 45 minutes." Great thanks. We get there at 5 almost 2 hours later. "Well itll be done in 45 minutes." But by that time we had places to be and had to leave it over another night and get it the next day. If you need 2 days just say so. Quit jerking me around wasting greater than a day of my time. This happens EVERYTIME with them. Were done. Unless its a FORD recall were going elsewhere for routine maintenance. Again, friendly enough. Professional enough. But put some thought into your time assessment please. Or ask the actual mechanic and dont make stuff up. And make no mistake, out service that took that long was getting new tires(that were in stock on premises) on a Ford Escape. Not exactly rocket science.

The most unprofessional and unpleasant service experience I have had in awhile. 2015 Ford F150 Platinum. Call for an oil change and check driver seat that is malfunctioning. Tells me to come on down. I get there at 1:30 PM and a clueless manager tells me he has 3 people ahead of me and doesnt know if he can get to it. I tell him I will leave it. Someone calls me back and asks a question about the seat. I ask if the oil change is done. He says the guy will call me right back when off the phone. 2 hrs later, I call and ask if oil change done. He doesnt know. I get there and he says they couldnt look at the seat. Also, that he did the oil change and checked the tire pressures and fluids. I leave. I check the tire pressure and sure enough, it is exactly where it was, 1 tire 5 psi low. They are liars and clowns and I dont even know if they really did an oil change., Stay AWAY!

Ive been a customer of Gervais Ford for 15 years. Theyve been extremely good to us. They are so very accommodating special requests such as coming out to your house to pick up the car. There have been multiple times where we needed work done on the car and any unscrupulous places could have really taken us to the cleaners. Theyve always been up front about our options and on several occasions talked us out of spending extra money on a repair when they felt it wasnt really needed. My most recent issue involved a mouse and our Ford Focus 2015. The mouse attacked the heating systems blower motor and fan. The entire bill would have been $550 as it was not a warranty issue. However, they used some of Fords customer loyalty money as well as their own loyalty program and my bill was reduced to $100. I cannot recommend Gervais Ford highly enough. Great work!
