I have given only 2 stars (for the Quincy store) not because I didnt think that it was a good store with people with a lot of knowledge about vitamins, nutrition and related issues. However, they can treat their customers very badly. They act like bullies with people that are vulnerable because usually they have health issues.After spending a lots of money during only few months, I had the temerity to return a sealed item for refund. They refused to do it and wanted to give me only a store credit. I didnt know about that as their postings are in places where u wouldnt necessarily look at. As to the posting on the counter, you usually are there to pay, youre busy getting your credit cards, entering your pin, etc. I made my displeasure known though I absolutely didnt make a scene and other customers werent aware of what was going on. A week or so later, I. returned to buy some products and to my astonishment I was told that they couldnt help me anymore. They told me why and I procclaimed my innocence. There was no getting anywhere with them They just simply threw me out the store. I asked to speak to the manager who had made that decision. She was actually there but refused to see me. It was pretty cowardly to send her employee face the music and pretend to be too busy to see me.The salesperson, as I insisted about more information, became somewhat belligerent. I walked out just absolutely stunned. I had never been treated that way in a store that is taking my money. I am a 64 year woman with some health problems. I would never have made a scene that would have alerted other customers. Whatever happened to "the custome is always right"? I was fuming as I walked out yet, I didnt make a scene at that point in time either. I am sure that anyone that would in anyway ask some challenging questions about financial issues or any other displeasure would be treated as badly. I like to think that it wasnt a personal attack but I cant help , at times, feeling that it was.

I love this grocery store. It would be a perfect 5 star experience but for one issue: the management doesnt understand the importance of making a personal connection to their customers. They even go so far as to scold employees that interact with customers, pushing them back to other menial tasks. We often go elsewhere when we have a choice just for this reason.

Grocery store that caters to people that maintain a healthy lifestyle & for people that have medical food related issues. All types of organic foods and bodybuilding supplements are here. Some foods are a bit pricey, but worth it !
