I used to like this store, but its been a miserable place to shop ever since the Shaws nearby closed. It is always crowded now, especially on weekends - to the point where I will buy food at a gas station rather than go to this store on a Saturday. The employees always seem exhausted and stressed out, and this is sometimes reflected in the way they treat customers. To be fair, they have their hands full just keeping the shelves stocked. Its not their fault that the store is too small for the number of customers they serve, but it would help if they were adequately staffed. Its pretty frustrating when theres a problem at the self-checkout (which cant seem to cope with coupons) and you have to wait and wait and wait for someone to come over and help you. The management does not keep up with the kinds of things theyd have to if they had any competition. For example, there was a malfunctioning light in the parking lot for weeks (maybe its still broken), leaving part of the lot in darkness. This was really obnoxious around the holidays, when the parking lot was getting full and people were driving around trying to find good spaces. Not a fun place to walk around in the dark. Hopefully a competitor will move into the old Shaws. That will ease up the crowding at Stop & Shop and force management to step up their game. Until then, I will go to this store as seldom as possible.

Terrible experience accused me of stealing 20 dollars worth of food after purchasing over 300 dollars worth of food and was very rude. If i needed to steal 20 dollars worth of food i wouldnt be spending over 300 at the grocery store mind you they vouldnt even tell me what i attempted to steal. Very bad service canceled my membership i will never spend another dollar with them again my family has already left them for other rude and unpleasant reasons nobody should be going here it should be closed down.

The atmosphere is really nice and friendly here but there seems to always be only a few cash registers open. The people working them dont always ask you for your stop n shop card, so you get stuck paying full price. I also noticed that just today, the woman there scanned one of my purchases twice, so I had to pay for two when I only got one. I wish I could go back and have my money returned to me but Im sure they wouldnt believe me.

This place has awful customer service. The woman who is usually in charge of the self checkout generally plays with her phone and ignores customers. If I need her help I have to go get her and she is always rude about it. The employees have inappropriate conversations with each other in front of customers. If this wasnt the closest grocery store to my house by far I would shop elsewhere.

Great selection of food here, everything I would expect from stop and shop. My only complaint is the bathrooms... They seem like they havent been cleaned since the place opened. They are absolutely disgusting and I feel bad for anybody who has the displeasure of using them.

Moderately busy to swamped every time I go. I dont mind using the self check out but i feel like they are really pushing for people to use it latley. Store is always clean. Parking isnt usually to bad. Prices are usually higher compared to most of the other supermarkets.

Service is horrible. Produce is often close to rotting if not already so. Produce selection is pretty bad. When youre the only game in town though, you can get away with this. Many people I know are starting to drive to Shaws in Wareham or Market Basket in New Bedford.

This is a poorly managed store. Always sold out of basic items. No express checkout lanes. Terrible service. Workers all seem miserable & shuffle around slowly. Aisles too crowded with freestanding displays, congesting human traffic. Needs new leadership!

Not bad. I do most of my shopping here. Wish their organic section was a lot bigger. The one in Dartmouth has a much larger selection of items. Also wish their organic fruit and veggie section was bigger.

Selection OK. They dont carry things like rice milk + certain international foods, but everything we buy is usually fresh. Its conveniently closer than the larger grocery store and I hope they stay around.
