Have not been there in about 1 year but since it is located in a small Plaza I stopped in to buy a greeting card which is cheap. Also they have a large selection of liquor.. I used to live a very short distance from there and visited quite often like twice a week.Now for the bad part twhich outweighs the good. The freezers break down and everything defrost but when the freezers work again they sell those items when they freeze again. Not only did th ice cream have frost and was discolored and items in poor condition but the packaging just fell apart. The place is not clean and has a funny smell to it. Prices are somewhat High. Baked goods had a fly or 2 in the glass cases on more than one occasion. The worst part is there is always birds flying around not a whole bunch but one or two that in itself is gross if the bird takes a poop on the items. I swear that this is all true though it sounds unbelievable.

Best price for chicken. Although need improvement at the seafood deli. Sometimes they ignore asians to serve the Portuguese. They think asians are cheap so they most likely to make suggestions, like when asking for shrimp he said come back tommorow its a lower price. So the Portuguese can have it fresh that day. And when ordering a bag of clams i want the whole bag, he was worried and said omg the whole bag is about $40 or $50 so he only scope up a handful and weight it. What a lost for them i was willing to pay good money too. The next time i order lot of prawns and he told me there are frozen box of it i can get it cheaper. Ok do i look blind and dumb. I have money to choose it fresh what does it matter to them what comes out of my pocket? They better think outside the box to make profits instead of judging.

Although they have a halfway decent selection if your just running to grab something to make for tonight, this most definitely is NOT the place to do your weekly/monthly grocery shopping at. Their prices are outrageous, I took a women there to grab a few things so her kids had something to eat for the next few days and $100 only got her maybe 2 breakfasts, 1 lunch, 1 dinner & maybe a snack if by chance theres a little left overs. Just to clarify she was only feeding 2 very young children. I could have fed my family of 5 (which includes 2 adults & 3 kids) for at least a week w/$100 anywhere else! Very disappointed!!

I been living in fall river for a year now from Boston and ever since Ive been going here its been a good experience their meats are cheap and they have variety just wish they had more Caribbean ethnic foods from my background Jamaica which they dont really have in fall river too much but other than that the store is pretty good

Great Store we live in East Prov. N travel to this store. Even though this seabra in Bristol Rhode Island this one tops the best in the Hot Food Bar.... theyre Portuguese food is restaurant quality unlike the one in Bristol in variety quality and professionalism...
