I initially purchased a bike here about 5 years ago. Ive since purchased another expensive (to me) bicycle that Ive not had any problems with. after purchasing a third bicycle because I was getting a deal from a place that rhymes with Bolorado Trike Stop and having more than my fair share of issues with it, i can always count on Competitive Edge to set me straight. Glad that theyre around to help me with the bike I shouldve gotten from them in the first place. Luckily, my ankles are an appropriate girth unlike the poor fellow who was having ski boot fit issues.

Wonderful shop! Friendly staff with a real commitment to doing right by the customer. Purchased a bike and had it shipped; UPS damaged it. While it was insured, UPS did their usual song-and-dance of not wanting to cover it. As the last in-stock of its model, I was in a real pickle. Competitive Edge did everything they could to get me the bike I bought, as quickly as possible - and they put their money where their mouth was. Frankly, the shop did what was right by me customer; an approach I valued, and havent come to expect.

I did not sense ANY elitist attitude whatsoever when I came into the shop. If you have been riding for awhile, you can just FEEL if a shop is going to be right for you. This shop in East Longmeadow, MA is such a place. Staff was friendly, knowledgable, and more importantly genuinely cared if I had a good experience there. I have been in a lot of bike shops in my day, and I would rate this as one of the best. Thanks guys (and girls)!

My wife ordered a bike rack for me at Christmas (in December). Six months later, after countless empty promises and missed deadlines I asked for and received our money back. The customer service level and delivery on promises were very disappointing. While their bike mechanics are very capable and their store personnel are knowledgeable, this experience has left me looking for a new bike shop.

I went in to rent my children ski equipment the day after I spent $2,000 for skis for myself. The older gentleman who helped me kept telling my son that his ankles were too skinny for ski boots (my son is very self conscious about his thin frame). When i asked the guy to stop talking like that to my son, he got really rude with me. I would not shop here if they were giving stuff away!!!

Unprofessional and condescending! I am not sure how they are still in business with the horrible customer service. I was in the market for some ski equipment and was totally put off by the attitude of the staff. I wont even buy a pair of socks from these people! They may be knowledgeable but I would much rather go to another shop where customers are treated respectfully.

I bought a $2000 bike they had to order. Seth said it may take a couple of weeks to get.Waited 2 weeks and gave them a call for estamated TOA & thats when the stories started. 6 weeks later still no bike.Called one last time to get a REAL answer they got rude. All smiles to make the sale but very poor service and communication .Hope i can get my deposit back.

Had a great experience at this shop buying a new mountain bike Ive been looking for for quite a while. Was turned off by other shops in western MA with snobby attitudes and lack of trek bikes. This shop has competitive pricing and knows how to personally deliver customer service, cant wait to check out winter inventory!

Best place to buy a bike. "Uncle" Jimmy was great. He took the time necessary to size a bike for my wife and didnt try to oversell us something for our skill level. Excellent service and they treated me like family. If you got to spend the money somewhere, I was happy to give it to them!

The staff was reasonably knowledgeable with their equipment. Pricing was fair but they had limited selection of gear I was interested in. I ended up buying from somewhere else. Def worth going and seeing what they have in stock.
