We had shopped around at other dealerships, but when we left them I felt dirty, the sales people reminded me of the stereo types you see in the movies, at one dealer ship, we spent over 30 minutes doing paperwork, before they would let us look at the car we were interested in buying. THAT WAS THEM…Not Good. On the other hand this is Lamoureux Ford… Our sales person was John Boxshus, he spent some time learning about are wants and needs, while doing this he paid attention to details about my family, their personalities, their likes and dislikes. We spent several minutes talking about the vehicle we were interested in and then went over the available options. In short order we narrowed it down to a few, talked about our price range and what we were looking to faineance…with keys in hand we were able to walk the lot, talk openly about each vehicle (sit, touch, explore…) I’m not sure when it happened, but at some point John became less of a sales person and more of an advisor. We talked about family size, pets, driving habits, gas prices, comfort, length of investment and how it all tied together with our lifestyle. What’s also important to point out John took the time to involve each member of the family…it was as if every family member had equal say in the purchase. SKIP to the End…we found our car we bought the car and thought that was the end…but no. Lamoureux Ford did all the basics (took care of the applications, the finance and the getting plates for car) and more. John also helped us through the process of moving a total of 3 vehicles around by the time we were done. The new vehicle went to a parent, the replaced vehicle went to the child in collage, and the child’s vehicle was removed from road for safety issues (Peace of mind). This was what I would consider above and beyond and we were thankful for the help. On the day we picked up the new vehicle, I expected to sign some papers, hand over some money and be on my way…but this did not happen. What did happen was, John went over all the paperwork, letting us know what we agreed on what was what we got (no hidden fees, no hidden cost). Then we all went out to the vehicle and went over all the options and spending as much time as we needed to show us how to use the new technology (GPS, phone sync, radio, seats…) again everyone was involved including the kids while presetting the Disney channel in the sati light radio… At some point we drove off the lot…not sure we understood all that just happened but…but feeling really good about the whole experience. Did it end there? No, a few day later we had a follow up call asking us to come back and go over again anything we did not understand about the vehicle or the features…and yesterday I was surprised to find a thank you letter from John in my mailbox (snail mail). For the most part we are used to getting poor service, paying too much for a meal, or buying something only to have it break the first time you try and use it. SO it is really nice to find a place like Lamoureux Ford that makes you feel good about getting value for your hard earned money…and it’s even better when you deal with a person like John that is as passionate about his customers as he is about the product he is providing. If asked if I would buy from them again…the answer is yes.

Im a car guy and I ALWAYS walk into a dealership knowing more than the salesman. Not so in this case. These people know their product and know how to treat people. They also know how to follow through on doing what they said they will do even when they are busy enough to understandably forget. This was a perfectly executed transaction from start to finish. Ive bought many cars and trucks including 4 in the past 2 years and including many from luxury brands as well as from big name dealers but Im hands down the most satisfied with Lamoureux Ford. Everyone from the sales manager right down to the registry runner is paying attention to their job and to every detail. I have some very specific requests in my car buying and I almost always expect something to go wrong but nothing did. They even noticed I had stainless steel screws holding my plates on my old vehicle so they made the trip to the hardware store to get stainless of the new size for my new truck. They were also as competitive on price as any big dealership. This was very nice to see from a small family ford dealership. They were out of my area but they happened to have the truck that met my criteria so I made the hour drive out to see them never thinking Id ever consider going back. That drive is a small inconvenience to deal pleasantly with real and honest people who care and pay attention. What I found most telling about them was that no one ever asked me or even mentioned the survey Id be getting from ford. In my experience with any other dealer, they always ask you to please give them all 5 stars when you receive the survey after purchasing. I suppose Lamoureux feels if you do your job fairly, respectfully, and follow through on every detail than you wont have to worry about how someone fills out the survey. Well done.

It was to be a Ford Fusion Hybrid or a Camry Hybrid. The Ford cost more but offered more. It was the driving experience that sold us. We spent several weeks visiting the two local dealers. It is a subtle difference but the friendly Camry salesman seemed genuinely interested in the sale; Bob Parker seemed genuinely interested in us. We had good talks about the cars, the dealership, the service to be expected (of course, I suppose) but - maybe the word Im looking for is comfortable. It was a comfortable series of visits. One of the brothers owning the dealership dropped by to see of all our questions were being answered to our satisfaction. They were. But then he stayed to chat for a few minutes. Score a point for Lamoureux! I had poured over all the Ford Fusion Hybrid information available (20130. Bob had Ford send a 2014 brochure to me, as the dealership hadnt received theirs yet. And then as we chatted, he added some info on some things I hadnt read about. We went through the list of what items came with the Titanium model we were looking at; none of the brochures made that clear. Determining the kind of driving expected to do helped add a few options and delete a few others. He cautioned us that the (elegant) seats that we preferred would not begin manufacture until November (we were talking in September) and was that all right with us. Yes it was. This dealership is a relatively small one. You know, the kind where everybody knows your name :-) And to repeat, we are comfortable there. The car came yesterday and we had a chance to relax while Bob accomplished the paperwork chores. AS I read over what Ive written, One could ask, "Isnt this what all dealers should do?" Well, yes, it is. But do they? Lamoureux Ford and Bob Parker did for us. Bob and Tina

Return Customer to Lamoureux Ford I first went to Lamoureux Ford in 1998. My wife wanted to customize our first new car together, a 1998 Ford Explorer Sport! Marc helped us at the time, and allowed my wife to pick out exactly what she wanted in terms of interior and exterior color, as well as options. Marc ended up special ordering the Explorer for us, with no hassle and great patience. He also beat every price from every dealer in the area. Years later we saw Marc out at a local store and he recognized us, and asked how the Explorer was doing. Im not saying he would remember every customer, but he remembered us. We returned several times over the years, never bought, but Marc always remembered us. This year, we wanted to return to a Ford SUV. My wife went herself, and began working with Koko. She felt no pressure and Koko was more then helpful in explaining the Ford Escape, and letting her take it on a long test drive. I returned with her, and Koko and Peter in the business office, helped us arrange financing. In 24 hrs. we were approved and ready to go. When we went to pick up the Escape, they were a little behind schedule, so they treated us to lunch with a gift certificate at a local restaurant up the road, while we waited for our Escape to be cleaned and prepped. When we returned an hour later, our Ford Escape was cleaned and detailed with a full tank of gas. I have been to other Ford Dealerships in Central Mass, and have experienced the high pressure put on me by the sales crew. I never felt any pressure at Lamoureux Ford. It was actually a pleasant car buying experience. Thanks again to Koko, Peter, and Marc.
