Knowing nothing about how to keep plants alive yet loving having a home with lots of greenery, Ive been very pleased with Cedar Grove. They are helpful in explaining what I need to know, respectful when I let them know that I really dont want to know any more but that I trust their judgement, i.e. they basically accommodated my specific needs. Their prices are reasonable (lets face it, no nursery has rock bottom Home Depot prices); Ive certainly seen nurseries in the suburbs that were significantly more expensive. Overall, I really like the place, the people, the selection (although not huge is sufficient), the service, and (kind of) the prices. At this point I dont go anywhere else.

I love this place. I always find what Im looking for and then some. There are always interesting housewares, flowers, plants and decorations to choose from. At Christmas the shop and grounds are transformed into a magical space. Every year I purchase a wreath and enjoy choosing the bows and decorations, which I will save for a future generation. Thank you. What a treat to have you right here in Dorchester.

Great plants, fabulous selection of gifts and knowledgeable, friendly, attentive staff. Cedar Grove is head and shoulders above the bulk of Boston florists. You can pick up a bouquet, decorate your porch, landscape your yard or prepare a wedding and reception for royalty. One is Dorchesters treasures.
