The coffee here is AMAZING! Its very high quality, like Atomic Cafe or Starbucks, but his House Blend (Shanti) is MUCH MUCH smoother than ANY coffee out there, especially Starbucks and Pike Place, which to me is a "step up" coffee, but bitey as hell. You will NOT find any bitey-ness in Shanti, just smooth gorgeous coffee flavor. Interestingly though, if you PREFER the bite of Pike, Om (the WONDERFUL new owner) has a blend called "Bad Boy" that is IDENTICAL in taste and bite if thats your thing. Om (he pronounces it like "Ome" or "Ohm") is a man who obviously loves life, his family, coffee, good food and his customers. Hes a man with true joy in his heart and it shows. Om has also found very nice and professional people to help him make this cool place a reality for all of us. You will encounter MANY regulars whenever you walk into this very cute coffee shop. If that doesnt tell you something about Kaffmandu, I dont know what else to say! Erik Swanson, a VERY pleased regular customer.

I have lived in Danvers MA for 20 years. I began going in about 10 years ago. Charming and electric, I enjoyed meeting friends for a coffee or lunch. About three years into my patronage, the ownership obviously shifted. The place became grimey. Wear and tear showed on the furniture, kitschy items were jutted into every corner. It lost its ambience. Im a coffee person and I do admit that the coffee is good, great selection. But at this point the coffee is its only credit. Fresh baked muffins but imported, sugary pastries. If youre looking for a non greasy lunch go around the corner to the fresh market and grab a salad. Recently they added hot and cold subs, theyre better off sticking to what they know. Also if youre looking for a delectable pastry go down a few stores to Sara Lena. I have never had an issue with the staff, on some occasion I feel sorry for them. Overall, the staff is pleasent and always ready to assist anyone, the coffee is a must, and the food could be greatly improved.

Mediocre. Run by a diabolical, hairy man. The location has so much potential- exposed brick, vaulted ceilings but it is overrun with poor taste. There are large menus covering the walls and it is impossible to order from the confusing text that overwhelms the senses. Never boarded the organic health food train and obviously is a great fan of BJs pastries. The staff is sweet- especially the woman who bakes the muffins and the coffee is yummy but overall Id avoid The Custom Cup.

Charming staff , cute cafe. I tried dunkin donuts iced green tea down the street but didnt really like it. Went down the street to this coffee house to grab some breakfast. The manager asked me how my DD iced tea was, and I told him it wasnt that great. He proposed that he take my drink and replace it with a passion fruit iced tea for free! And agreed, its so much better!! I wont go back to dunks next time in here, Ill be going to this place.

This is NOT your average coffee shop. If youre a dedicated fan of iced coffee, go check out Custom Cups iced coffee flavor menu--it will bring tears to your eyes. The 5 stars is also for the fact they dont use syrup like gross Dunkin Donuts to flavor the coffee. The actual coffee is flavored and it makes all the difference. They also have fun specialty drinks for those of you who like the fancy, sweeter drinks.

Excellent coffee and espresso. The baked goods are delicious, including quiches and coffee cakes, danishes and muffins and many other options. They use bagel worlds bagels, which are pretty easily the best on the north shore, and make for pretty excellent bagel sandwiches. Skip dunks, this place will leave you feeling much happier!

First, the 3-year-old reviews on here isnt for Kaffmandu because Kaffmandu is less than 1-year old. Anyway, not only is the coffee and food phenomenal, but the owner is animated and charming. I love seeing business like these in Danvers. Im proud to give Kaffmandu my business.

Josh provided great customer service. He greeted me the second I walked in. I told him that Ive never been there before, he came around the corner and introduced himself. He asked me a few questions about my taste and reccomended the razzle dazzle which was perfect.

Good alternative to D&D/Starbucks and I think their coffee is better than D&D and on par with Starbucks, many brews to choose from, and the food is good too. Good pastries, breakfast sandwiches. If you are ever in Danvers, MA swing by.

Friendliest cup of coffee in the area. Great hometown comfortable feel. The owner is a hard worker. Its great to see a local business going toe to toe with the big name coffee joints. Oh, and the Coffee & Tea are fabulous!

This place makes one mean cup of coffee. Courteous and quick staff, a very friendly and entertaining owner, and a good atmosphere. Oh and free wifi! Try the dirty chai if youre up for something savory and rich with a kick.

The staff were so positive and lovely. I ordered the turkey wrap, with not much expectation (its a turkey wrap-how exciting could that be?), and it was delicious. I will definitely return, with friends.

Best coffee around. Different types of beans with lots of different flavors..A real coffee house.. Sit relax and talk to Ur friends.. try one of there muffins and u will not be disapointed. Come early.

Whenever Im in the neighborhood, I go out of my way to stop by. Worth it every time! The owner and his staff are great --- my kids love them. The espresso and the ambiance keep me coming back for more.
