We were so fortunate to find Sophie! She created the engagement ring for my brothers wife who lives in Boston, and when I decided to pop the question myself, I looked into seeing if she could do something for me too. Sophie was able to meet with me in New York to go over concepts and look at stones, and we collaborated together remotely on an original design that came out just perfect. Sophie was knowledgeable about metals and stones, and helped us source ethical materials which was a priority for me personally. Shes also an artist who knows how to interpret information about taste and persona into her mode of making jewelry so that a custom piece comes out looking just as you would hope while still retaining her unique sensibility. I loved the experience of working with Sophie and Ore so much that my fiancé and I came back to her for our wedding bands too! We now have three beautifully crafted Ore pieces that serve as an indelible symbol of our love and marriage, and we couldnt recommend Sophie Hughes and Ore highly enough!

The women at Ore are superstars. I found my dream engagement ring - a vintage ring Sophie had sourced and updated to make more modern. I went to try it on and Olga was such a joy to work with - so sweet and excited. You can tell she loves what she does.
