My commute will soon be changing and a moped seemed like a smart option, as well as it has been a small bucket list item to own a vintage moped. I began looking and found what seemed like a good option, a 1980 Sachs Prima. Overall it was in fine working condition but needed new tires and a full tune up as well as a few other small items (Apparently a screw was missing which was causing it to stall while at idle). I called and spoke to Justin who is friendly and very accommodating. I was able to drop my moped off and he gave me all the info about what they would be doing as well as an accurate estimate of costs. He also talked me out of fixing the speedometer (because they apparently always break). He said it would take about a week since they have a back log of work right now. I dropped it off on a Friday and he gave me a call on Saturday at 5pm to let me know it was all set! Apparently since there wasnt much that needed to be done he rushed it through. I picked it up and it works fantastic, much improved compared to when I dropped it off. Justin also went out of his way to show me what had been done as well as to make sure I was doing all the start procedures properly. I just rode it all day all over the city without so much as a hiccup. I will be returning to Lucky 2 Strokes for the high quality service, reasonable price, and high level of customer service.

This is the only place in the North East you should go to get anything done to your moped. I dont care if its too far, your dads best friends nephews friend will fix it for cheap, bring it here and it will be done right. Honestly one of the friendliest group of guys Ive ever met and I sign their praises to everyone. My Jawa will break many more times and Im stoked to have a go to shop.

Stopped by to grab some parts and a helmet and was able to get everything quickly at a reasonable price. I had a problem with one of the parts and they were very quick to get it fixed by sending out a replacement. Id recommend going here for all of your moped needs. Being the only moped shop in the area isnt stopping Lucky 2 Strokes from providing high quality service!
