OK, heres the story w/ Scooters Go Green: THEY ARE THE REAL DEAL. Remarkable businesspeople running a great year-old business, selling and serving fantastic lines of scooters. Id ridden a Honda Elite 50cc for more than 10 years and after it was totalled in an accident late last year I wanted to buy a comparable new or used one. After several deals fell through (including a trip to Red Streak Scooters in Marlborough, where I went to look at their line of low-end Chinese scooters which they do not let the public test drive...HELLO, WTF, whos going to buy a new scooter without being able to take it for a test?!?), I found Scooters Go Green. They let me test drive three scooters (two from Genuine, made in Taiwan, and one lower-end model from China, the Rocket). No brainer, at least for an experienced scooter like myself. The Genuine Rough House 50 rode like a charm -- solid, tough, safe, smooth, peppy -- and I bought it on the spot. Because theyre the first Massachusetts scooter dealer to sell the Genuine line, Im the first kid on the block with a Rough House, but I expect to see many more in the coming months/years. While the Rocket (which sells for less than $1000) is a great novice scooter I suppose, I found no comparison whatsoever between the Genuine line and the other. You certainly get what you pay for. But Scooters Go Green lets you make your own decision about what scooter is right for you. Scooters Go Green understand and stand behind their products, they offer full-service and sell accessories, they are unpressured salespeople and extremely nice folks to boot. WHAT A BREATH OF FRESH AIR ARE THEY!!! I expect to be a returning customer of theirs for many years to come, and I offer the highest praise of their products and service. So much so that I was compelled to write this review, never done such a thing before. Oh, and I did I mention that my new Rough House 50 scooter is bitchin cool...its fantastic to be back on the road. Thanks Scooters Go Green for making it happen. Ed P.

I am not one to usually review but I consider this such a niche and important business that I am compelled to do so in this matter. I have a scooter that I bought second hand from a craigslist seller. I have been very happy and have performed a ton of work on my own but the scooter still had a few quirks. I finally decided it was time to look for someone in the area with the right kind of expertise. I found these guys online and gave them a call to get a "feel" for pricing and timing. Nick was extremely thorough and ran me through a basic diagnostic over the phone. I felt very comfortable with his level of knowledge and he was able to get me to a point where I not only knew what the price was going to be and the time it was going to take, but I was certain that these guys were going to get the job done right and done the first time without any "surprises". My scooter is still currently being serviced but today I received a phone call from Nick to explain to me what he saw and ask a few more questions to be sure it was going to come back to me in the exact way I wanted. They even cleaned up a few other things that were wrong (maybe Nick has some degree of OCD/perfectionist and just couldnt let it stand?) This has been a great experience and I would highly recommend these guys for service. 5 stars, 2 thumbs up and a fist bump

Beware of scooters go green. I have made the mistake of buying my Son a poorly built lancer PCH. At the time we were there looking at scooter the Steve guy keep going on and on about how great this scooter is and they have a two year warranty. A year later and his story has changed. My son scoot has been to scooters go green more time for electrical and fuel problems then it has been on the road. The bike only has 532 miles on it and has been in the shop 7 times of which it was once for 3 months for one repair to the alternator / stator. Steve said lance manufacturing in China sent them the wrong part the first time and was out of stock on the correct one. For 3 months ? Are you freaking kidding me ? In March the scooter agin didnt start. When I called scooters go green they really pissed me of by trying to put the blame on my son ?? And wanted to charge me for a new carb on a scooter that supposed to have a two year warranty. I had enough with cheap China made scooters and scooter go green inabilities to fix it my son 2500.00 paper weight is collecting dust as the professional a parkway cycles gave us a great deal on a lightly used ( Honda PCX 150)

I had been thinking of buying a scooter for the last two years now. I live in Boston and commute to South Boston to work and few weeks back got the OK to park in my buildings garage along with a prime parking area (right in front of a security camera) at work. A recent bonus had been burning a whole in my pocket do I decided to take a long lunch and walk to Scooters Go Green for test drive. I met Steve (one of the two Steve owners) who was friendly and knowledgeable on the ins and outs of each model. I test drove the Buddy in black and it seemed like a good fit. However I saw the Buddy International in Green, the Italia model and I knew I needed to spend a little more for this. I waited about a week for one to become available and right on time I picked up my baby on Friday. I have been in love ever since and always adding extra accessories each week. These Folks are a class act and not once treated me (a beginner) like an idiot for not knowing much about scooters. Also they are not high pressure like some dealer can be. I will defiantly go back for service and recommend them to a friend.

I knew I wanted a scooter for my move to NYC from N.H. this summer. I saw Scooters Go Greens tent at EarthFest and fell in love with the Buddy Italia. But I waited because I wanted to do some research (not, particularly my strongest suit). I looked around mostly for prices, but decided to email the Steves at Scooters Go Green for some questions about scooters, and how Id get it from Boston to NH to NYC. Flexing their technological muscles, the Steves graciously replied back, answering my questions (as well as follow-ups). Never did I feel like I was being lured into a web of sleazy dealer doings. Via e-mail, the Steves seemed great ... What got me into their store, a good hour away from my front door, was my discovery of their commitment to human rights (explained on their Web site). What got me to buy a scooter from them was their genuine (pun intended) kindness and desire to help. I truly feel like, by buying from the Steves, I have a support system for any future questions, accessory purchases, etc. Without a doubt a phenomenal experience for this first-time scooter buyer.

Bought a used Buddy 50 from them. It is my first scooter. Loving it. Steve did not hard sell me to anything. He told me about the different bikes there. Nick walked me through the different features of the bike, how to operate, and care for it. Because it is my first time ever to ride a scooter, Steve took time to give me some tips and guide me as I try out my scooter. I am appreciative about this. The shop has a pretty good vibe. I read previous reviews here before I visited them. My visit to the shop confirmed all the nice things others have said about them and the shop. On my last visit, there were several customers. I observed that the customers were being attended to. No one is being neglected. Definitely will bring my bike there for maintenance and buy other stuff that my bike or I need.
