If I could give it less than one star I would... I speak as someone who has worked here and someone who has left a loved one alone here. I worked here as a seasonal hire for shoe depot. The job itself was terrible but what I witnessed while working there was even worse. Some punk kids threw slushies off of the balcony above into the store and mall security did nothing. A man (who appeared to have oil on his body) rode a teddy bear scooter into the store and my manager forced me to ask him to leave. Once again we called mall security and they did nothing. I wondered why they failed to do their jobs, and then I realized why. Theyre old! Many of the guards (with the exception of one or two) are elderly citizens who cant intervene, let alone make it there on time. There have been several fights at this mall and every time mall security has done nothing but stand by and watch. Left my sister here along with her friend so they could shop, only to get a call seconds after I left, to turn around and pick them up. How can someone feel safe and enjoy a pleasurable shopping experience when events like these occur? Havent been to this mall in months and dont plan on going back anytime soon...

This mall has its ups and downs. Ive seen the location have the perfect mix of stores with plentiful offerings and the next time I visit a particular store will be closed. Im not sure what the deal is with the vast amount of openings then strange, quick closings. The food court is okay but I rarely eat anything. My BFF likes Cinnabon and I like Sarku Japan (the sushi is really good). I like the fact that I see a lot of cleaning staff constantly clearing tables and keeping the area neat and orderly. No issues on that end. I think that the parking security does an okay job. Ive visited this mall countless times and Ive never had any issues with my car in the parking lot. Great! All in all when Im in a bind and need something quick Ill stop by this mall, otherwise I drive a bit further for better & more options.

I like the mall, though some of the stores need to be relocated to less cluttered areas. For example, Spencers and Hot topic because the stores out in Virginia actually sell shoes. The bathrooms are dirty but I suppose the maintenance team couldnt keep it clean due to the mass amount of people coming and going. Also, there are teens at the mall acting foolish, yes, I am a teen myself. But, you have to remember there are parents who dont know how to raise a child properly or they think that they know their child so well. Some people here complaining about the kids, but thats not what the review is for. The teenagers dont work at St.Charles.

When I went to this mall, a teenager glared disrespectfully at my girlfriends buttocks. When I looked at him, his friend and himself asked me if I had a problem and began following me and my girlfriend out the mall. Before I exited the food court entrance they asked me if I wanted to fight them both. I declined. My girlfriend and I had to find another exit just to be safe. 1 year later and I am a police officer. Do not go to this mall by yourself. Its not safe, and the law enforcement in that mall have a very high tolerance when it comes to youth. No different than DC Metro, every single time I go to this mall teenagers are outrageous.

Has been renovated. Very clean and comfortable. Chairs are full recliners. I didnt go the the restroom, so I cant comment on the cleanliness. Concession lines were short. They now have guest services and the front area was nice and clean. As with anything it will need to be maintained to stay clean and up to date. For example someone left tix stubs in cup holders and they were all wet from whoever sat there prior. Have someone come in between movies and take care of little things like that. Go the extra mile.

Just B-ing Awesome

It isnt as great as it used to be. About a year ago I could go with my family without having to worry about rude, cursing, dirty minded teenagers roaming freely. The atmosphere is so uncomfortable that I cant even go that often anymore. The stores are wonderful, I love them to death. But its the people in the mall that get to me, they keep me from enjoying my time there. All in all, this is a great mall when it comes to the shopping, but the experience tends to be less than amazing.

This place started to go down hill with no name ghetto stores, but now ive noticed that most of those no name junk/trinket stores are gone and have been replaced with stores/buisness people actually want to shop at. I will say that i think they need to extend their hours...the latest they stay open is only 9pm, and thats even on the weekend hours. I would say they should at least stay open til 10pm on friday evenings and then 11pm to maybe even midnight on saturdays

Got there near closing time. Had to swing by the Verizon store. There is the nicest young man working there, named Will. He has always gone out of his way to help me with the problems I create with my smart phone. That entire staff is the best Verizon has ever had at a store. They need to be kept together, because they work so well together. I suggest you try it the next time you are at the mall, even just to pay your bill.

I had to call customer service about 3 times yesterday and was hung up on while waiting for someone to assist me on the phone. I called to put a pair of blue denim biker jeans on hold and they never assisted me and tried to tell me they didnt have any. They wouldnt give me a number to a manager, or to the actual store so i can call and ask myself. I recommend nobody to shop there because they are very unorganized.

Good for a quick get in/out but need more variety in stores and could use an update. Outside - Macys in particular - is extremely dirty and needs power washing. Trash cans are always full and overflowing. Just looks old and doesnt entice people to come in. Increasing crime and teen fighting discourages us from going on weekends or anytime after 4pm. Shame because it could be really great.

This is the best movie theater. The kids are not loud and roudy. You are able to see and hear the movie without the kids playing in the theater and being loud. Now this is the only movie theater we go to, we enjoy it and hope it stays the way it is. Thank you Xscape Theater for making my movie experience pleasant and enjoyable. Please keep up the good work.

St. Charles Towne Center has always been a nice mall, I would like to see shoe stores like ALDO and Steven Madden and a new variety of restaurants. The landscape is easy and most of "my" stores are on the same corridor. Id like it to be more than a place I ran to because I forgot something but more of a place I work up Saturday morning to get my "shop on".

The mall security seems a bit over zealous. And to me it seemed like they may profile a bit, by how they stopped and talked to every African American teen as if they suspected them of something. I personally wasnt questioned, nor did I hear the nature of the questions but the body language and posture of the security personnel seemed a but aggressive.
