We recently stayed at a hotel in the Rockville Town Square for almost a month. The Rockville area is new to us and the first week it was a fun place to hang out. Then the "rose colored glasses" come off. As this is a condo/apartment community that is pet friendly there are only a few places for your pet to use the bathroom. The popular spot being behind the Palladian. Be careful back there as youll see that some pet owners are not cleaning up after their dogs and neither is anyone managing the area. There was even some on the driveway entrance to the garage, rolled over and there for almost a week. Now, as much as we hate when pet owners dont pick up after their pets, how do I blame them when there are hardly any trash cans and you have to walk out of your way to get to one? Youll start to notice the cigarette butts too, but take a look around, theres no convenient garbage cans. As youll see a majority of them are right by the entrance of some restaurants. As an owner I wouldnt want the smell of "poop bags" to be the first thing my customers encounter walking in and out of my establishment. After we arrived here a window broke at the Upton Apartments. Glass everywhere on the sidewalk. Three weeks later, theres still a lot there. Were not talking sliver-like pieces in a small area. So much you cross the street to not step in it. You definitely cant walk your pet there. I have never visited a town square/center that allowed patrons to bicycle and skate board on the side walks. A few times as I came around a corner I had to quickly get out of the way to avoid getting hit. Dont get me wrong, there are a few good restaurants, but theres no shopping, you have to either meter park for a maximum of an hour or get your parking garage ticket validated at an establishment that you go to and its for a maximum stay for two hours. Unfortunately, the movie theater does not validate. I can tell you that in the entire life of the Internet I may have written 5 reviews online. Im not considered a "complainer". Ultimately, I hope that someone who has some authority reads this and hopefully makes some changes. For those of you not wanting to wait for drinks or food, no matter what day of the week or what time of the day or night, theres never been a wait. Friday and Saturday nights included. Why would there be if the parking time is so limited?

Dont go to Rockville Town Center, or at least be very careful. This must be the parking ticket capital of the world. A lot of people gotten parking tickets there. Ive gotten two recently for making it to the car a minute or two late. After adding 40 bucks to your shopping fees, the already inflated prices there just doesnt make sense anymore. We stopped patronizing shops there and have moved out our social activities as we dont want to invite friends into a situation where they will get a ticket easily. Dont go there as they make it quite vicious on people who are going there to have an enjoyable time.

I got a $40 dollar parking ticket inside your garage yesterday because i parked my car on the 30 minute CVS parking space, but Ive been parking in those spaces for more than 6 months and i leave my car there for hours sometimes and i randomly got a parking ticket. How do I appeal this i ticket. also, other cars had parked in those spaces for hours as well and they were not ticketed I want to know why. This happened in Rockville town center MD.

We love Rockville Town Square. This a good place for the entire family. There are quite a few good restaurants around the square and good dessert options too. They do have many activities at the square too - water sprinklers during summer and ice skating during winter! They even do a good job at decorating up the square for the Holidays. There is ample county parking near the square and most businesses provide validated parking too.

Rockville Town Square is a very nice place to visit. It has all sorts of things for any age group. The turf area is a great place for children to play, and when it gets warm enough, they turn on the fountains for children to play in. There are a lot of dining options to choose from, especially for dessert. The square is really beautiful at night. Be sure to visit sometime during the winter, when the square is decorated beautifully.

Such a nice place to take your kids, hang out with friends, or even go to study at the library. The library is huge, beautiful, and modern with a large selection of books and study rooms. It overlooks the town square that has a Buffalo Wild Wings, Lebanese Taverna, and more. In the winter, there is an ice skating rink. Not too many clothes stores or restaurants. Fun for walking around and getting ice cream.

The Rockville Town Square is a nice place to come enjoy live music during the summer, and ice skating during the winter. And they also put up a Christmas teee as well, which I didnt know until recently. There are lots of shops and restaurants in the surrounding area, and plenty of parking garages to park at. Make sure to get your parking validated!

Typical suburb town square. Nothing extraordinary. Theres a few bars and restaurants, mostly safe bets like Buffalo Wild Wings, or Gordon Burch. Its like this place tries to be politically correct and does not want to offend anybody that comes to visit. So come here if you dont want to be offended.

Hey guys and gals, I have so much fun here. Family friendly and adult friendly. Its like a Pixar movie in real life. Alright, thats an exaggeration. But for me to take the time to write this on a Friday says a lot for the experience.

Easy and affordable garage parking, big selection of restaurants and family-friendly shops, and a fun water area for kids to run through in the spring that doubles as an ice skating rink in the winter.

I like that you can have the library scan your parking pass, and have free time in the area. I would like that the establishments in the area also have a scanner.

Very nice place. I just moved across the street from it and headed over there. There are a wide variety of bars and restaurants, a library, a cinema, etc.
