This store has a great location next to our town home neighborhood, but the service is terrible. Do not even waste your breathe asking for help. Half of the employees in this store are borderline zombies, and you will be lucky if they are literate and can actually speak English. Once when I was in the gardening department, I heard a customer ask an employee if they knew who was in charge of an adjacent department. He just says, "Nope," and does not help her out at all. This is a textbook example of what you are not supposed to do. You have phones. You know who is in charge. Call someone. Use your chain of command. It is not rocket science. Another time I tried to buy a rake for $9.99 and it was a nightmare. I got to the register and, of course, there is no bar code on it. The cashier asks another employee to check the price, so she disappears for 10 minutes and we never see from her again. I get impatient and go back to the gardening department, grab the frickin hook the rake was originally hanging off, which has the printed bar code on it, walked back to the register and slammed it down on the counter. "Here it is. $9.99." No problem, right? Wrong. She looks at the bar code--she is completely befuddled. I ask, "Can you scan the bar code?" Nope. "Well, can you just type in this 10-digit number?" She does not know how to. She says no. "Well, can you just type in 9.99 and charge it to miscellaneous?" Still clueless. I am about to drop ten dollars on the counter and just leave the damn store and let her figure it out. Some other minion retard pulls us over to the customer service desk and somehow manages to charge us ten dollars for a rake. Hallelujah, it is a damn miracle. Easily the worst trained, least caring employees I have ever seen in a store. The name of the store should be changed from "Kmart" to "Welcome to Hell." That would be much more appropriate.

The Associates are very rude in this store except for a couple of them. I come in this store a lot and only a couple of them speak and say yes maam. At the service desk there is always a young lady by the name of CiCi I believe and she is so respectful, nice, always has a smile on her face, and does everything respectfully. She is a great employee. About 2 months ago there was a girl named Bree there she was very kind, respectful, always had a smile on her face, got the lines down, she also helped me at the service desk and at the pharmacy. She always said yes maam and when she would ask about Saint Judes I would always donate about $10.00 just because of her smile. She is always doing great when I come in and I only went to her line but now she isnt there and the whole Kmart is a mess. At the service desk there is a young Spanish lady by the name of Clarissa or Clerissa something like that but she is always on the phone, flirting with customers in Spanish, and that is not professional and it is not cute at all... YOU GUYS NEED TO GET BREE BACK AND KEEP HER BEHIND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE DESK!!!!!!!!!!! Also at the service desk there was a red head lady that was there and I realized she was the hiring manager and she did my transaction as well. She was so rude, chewing gum all in my face, catching a attitude, and rolling her eyes. A MANAGER SHOULD NOT ACT LIKE THAT AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!! This Kmart needs to fires most of the employees and managers and start over.. But keep CiCi and bring back Bree.

Terrible customer service, the cashiers are all the time in a bad mood and are very rude ... the last time I went I was attended by a woman named Lucinda so far the worst of them all. Pésima atención al cliente, las cajeras son mal humoradas y atienden de mala manera, la última vez que fui me atendió una señora llamada lucinda completamente mal educada, es lamentable que nadie haga algo al respecto.

The only time Ill come here is if its in the morning and I cant find what I need anywhere else. Morning time seems to be when the lines arent that long and there are people at most registers. But come afternoon and evening, with long lines - theres only about 3 registers open. Dont even bother coming in on a weekend though... Customer service is pretty bad. Except for 2 older ladies that work here. I always get in their lines if I see them working, because theyre super friendly and fast. As for most others that work here, eh. Stock is so-so. They usually have what Im looking for, but the packages look so beat-up and mishandled. Or if its a returned product, its taped up like a mummy.

This Kmart is trash!! I use to go there all the time but no anymore because the employees. When I went into Kmart a couple days I saw that changed the place around which is great and got rid of there nasty rude store manger Bill. They should consider firing their cracked out hiring manger shes extremely disrespectful. If you think about working here please think again because Kmart falsely accuses employees of helping each other steal from the store when only they were doing their job. Like how could you trust this place when the mangers are stealing from the Company and screwing employees on camera while the rats watch disgusting!!!

This place is awful they are always rude always something wrong!! Stores are suppose to put the customer first and they dont!!! If something is marked wrong they should honor it but they dont they argue with you and everything else!! I tried some clothes on and the lady at the dressing room was acting like I was stealing!!! Theres never any one to help in any department!!! Cashiers dont say a word to you customer service/returns are rude and disrespectful will argue and tell! Its dirty every time I walk out I have to take a extra shower!! Honestly I wouldnt refer someone I disliked to go to this place thats how bad it is!!!

Cashiers are loud and ghetto! Almost every employee comes across with an attitude and theyd rather be anywhere besides their JOB!!! Prices are not great, shelves low with merchandise and nobody ever around to help if you need it. A couple nice girls but cant ever find them when I need help. ELECTRONICS Dept literally has nothing. Might as well not even have it!! Only reason I go there is because Aspen HILL has nothing else besides Giant /cvs/riteaid... Ridiculous

Kmart has the worst service. Their credit card machines do not work and it seems like no one knows what they are doing. My family and I have gone their twice and both times we have had to wait a long time to get to the cash register and it has not worked and both times we have not been able to buy the stuff we were going to buy before. This is worst store and if you go there, when you leave I guarantee you will be frustrated and it is a huge waste of time.

TERRIBLE!!!! This is the closest Kmart to our house so we decided to give it a try. All I can say is that the employees do not help you, I went to 4 different employees for help before being forced to ask the managers. The customer service is non-existent. I will drive the extra distance to target next time, we will never walk into this store again. Such a terrible experience.
