I have been going to this store for a few years now and its progressively getting worse. They always seem understaffed, no matter what time of day you go there is only one or two registers open. The deli and bakery personnel is pretty rude, and gets easily offended if you ask questions regarding any of the items. In terms of stock, theyre usually stocked well even though they seem to run out of bananas and milk quickly without restocking in adequate time. Now I only go there if I need something in an emergency even though its the closest grocery store to me. One upside is there is a Starbucks in there, also the soups are pretty decent.

Everytime I shop here there is one OR MANY MORE pricing errors. You must watch the register as they ring or you will wait an hour to get customer service to refund you money. Otherwise great SALE prices, friendly employees, clean well stocked. You,can do well using the website to clip coupons, make lists and stick to them (and make sure you get the right prices) you can save a fortune. Regular prices are very high! Quality on meat very good

Probably close to your typical Safeway store. The store is very clean, and most personnel are usually quite friendly and helpful. Prices may be a bit above average, but this store is serving a limited community. Use the Safeway4U app to get decent discounts. Selection is pretty good, but there are a few items I have to get at other, larger grocery stores.

I dont think this is like your typical safeway - this one is smaller I think. Quality goods as usual. Pretty expensive though. Dont feel like there is much selection here, and some days the checkout lines get bad, but same could be said of other places too.

I have been to the deli to get lunch a couple of times. Once they were out of sub rolls for a sandwich and only had chibata rolls which ate hard and very dry. I gave them another chance and got a pre made salad that ended up being frozen in the middle.

Never seems to have enough checkers at Middletown Maryland Safeway. The manager opens a express line when the over 15 items line is down the isle. Really?
