I placed an order via the internet to have a poster printed and backed, but received a phone call the following day stating that they were out of backing but should have some in after 2pm and would call me back to let me know if they got it in or not. Since I never received a phone call back, I called the store and was placed on hold. I actually drove to the store while still on hold and spoke to someone in the store (in person) while still on hold on my cell phone. I used the speakerphone to demonstrate to the manager that the same music playing in the store was playing on my cell phone and showed the manager my call timer showing I had been on hold for over 45 minutes. I received an indifferent apology, the manager blamed a new hire that didnt know how to work the phones. When I asked about my poster the manager told me she didnt know if the backing had ever arrived and even if it did there was no one qualified to put the poster on the backing (nor was there someone qualified to cut out the white margins on the poster, but the manager said he would do it). please note, at this time I was being helped by a female who said she was a manager but she told me there was a shift change and deferred all responsibility to some unknown male manager who was the one who offered to cut out the margins for me but never talked to me or introduced himself. it took over 30 minutes for the female manager to find a working computer for her to reverse the charge for the backing on the poster. I was given no additional discount for my trouble.

Still completely shocked at how unprofessional the no named female associate who answered my call in the printing department was. Immediately when I relayed a message from my employer with questions as why we were not sent a proof before printing our banners, she raised her tone and spoke over me. When I asked her name she refused to give that information to me and said hold, I asked again may I have your name she rudely said yeah and hold and then put me on hold. Then picked it backed up and put the receiver on the counter so no one would pick up my line. So I called back shocked at this insane situation that I still do not understand why occurred and asked for a manager. The young lady that answered the general line was super friendly and immediately put a gentleman on the phone with me when I explained what occurred. I do not believe I actually spoke to the general manager but the young man did his best to smooth over the situation. Next time we will use our hometown friendly printers and just pay out the wazoo for overnight shipping if we ever have to do business in Hanover MD again. My goodness!

Horrible experience. Over a month ago I tried ordering business cards from Home and couldnt. Went into store wasted my time some more and had to go to office depot. This was over a month ago. Well I just tried ordering from their site and their website keeps crashing. I go an "oops " server error. So I called into store and supervisor gives me 1800 number to call. Now mind you, the young and who answered my call says this happens all the time. The copy clerk informed me this happens. Okay!!!! Why isnt this problem being addressed? The supervisor gave me a 1800 to call and guess what?!! The person transferred me. So I have no patience. I hung up. I will print cards out we elsewhere or just be patient and order through vista print because this is ridiculous. Why have a website when people cant make orders? And the supervisor told me this is what they do when people try printing cards. Really?!!! I cant imagine business retention. I will never try them again. They really need to address their website issues.

It was by far the worst customer service Ive ever had. I cant speak for the whole store, I only had contact with a gentleman working the printing section. I wanted to print out a form. I followed the direction on the card provided to me however at least 5 mins went by with no confirmation e-mail. I asked the worker how long it normally take them to receive the document and he said.... "anywhere from a few minutes to a few HOURS". Really, why would I wait at staples from a few hours just to get 1 document printed. I asked him if there was another way to get it printed and he said No, as though he was annoyed. I tried to use the computer to print it out myself and it was so slow and would not allow me to print the full document so $5.50 later I still couldnt print out what I wanted. It was a waste of money and time

Was at this store a few months ago, needed some copying. After waiting over 20 minutes was approached by an obese associate, who told me that he couldnt help my request. What really got me upset was the fact that he saw me bouncing from foot to foot, ( I have a severe form of neuropathy as Im a cancer survivor since 7 years, of course this is no bodys fault) he could have shortly inquired on my need and either ask for additional help or let me know right away that he couldnt help. I was very disappointed knowing that it will be the last time Im going to Staples for printing/copying services. Amazingly I received the service I was requesting at Office Depot halt an hour later. Staff like this one, make this store look tacky, too bad.

Extremely slow service i do suggest if you are in a hurry go somewhere else. No one seemed like they wanted to be there or was in any way in a hirry to assist any of the customers. A very sad experience i personally will be going somewhere else next time.
