Stopped by for a quick lunch break at the cafe. The line had a good number of people but it moved very quickly. The cashier was very friendly while still moving the customers right along. I had the $1.59 hotdog and drink combo and the $1 churro (a long twisted pastry with cinnamon and sugar). This is an unbeatable lunch for the price. If you are hungry and realise you dont have your card or cash on you, you can probably find enough in your cars console to pay for it. Its not just cheap but actually extremely delicious! The hotdog is all-beef and HUGE, trust me, theres a reason why they dont offer 2 dogs and a drink! Its on a yummy oversized corn dusted roll which looks like it could be a potato roll. Bottom line, the Costco hotdogs are the best Ive ever had, much better tasting than a $5+ dog at the ballpark. Only possible complaint about todays trip is the fact the condiment dispenser was just about completely out of ketchup and its been that way on couple other occasions. They should really have two condiment stations because they are always working too hard cranking out food to check on it. However, today I did manage to eventually get enough for myself....sorry to the next person...

I am writing to commend and thank the staff at the Monocacy Blvd. Frederick MD Costco for helping us to obtain passport photos last evening, Monday 6/26/2017. My husband and I just found out that his brother is visiting Canada from overseas and is unable to visit us in the US. We needed to get our passports renewed quickly to be able to make the trip to Canada. We were very anxious to get the photos ASAP so, when the photo center was a bit backed up with photo jobs, I spoke with a manager. She went way above and beyond to make the accommodations necessary for us to have the pictures taken while we were there. ALL of the staff we encountered were helpful and smiling – they never once, despite their workload, made us feel as though we were a nuisance. All I can say is WOW!! The incredible customer service at the Costco last evening did not go unnoticed and was really appreciated!!

Love this place for so many reasons. Had to return something which has never ever been a problem. It really helps when I cant decide on a product. I know if I want to return it FOR NO OR ANY REASON it will not be a problem. I had to pick up a pair of glasses I ordered they were awesome and I saved a ton of money buying them there. The staff is so helpful, you cannot beat their prices and they offer soooooo many services too. The samples are a really great way for me to decide if I want to buy something as well. I also had a prescription filled on this visit. Its worth spending more in the executive membership you will get a check for the membership you pay and more.

Very large warehouse with more than sufficient variety of household items, electronics, clothing, fresh hot food, fresh meats, easy to cook meals, cafeteria, services like pharmacy, eyeglasses, & photo lab. Offers self pay lanes & has restrooms. Great for family shopping & for business shopping. Easy return policy on everything sold here & has large appliances service & even more items available online. Generally most prices cannot be beat plus members receive cash back with all purchases. This Costco also offers very affordable gas station with cash back.

Overall an excellent store, however, take care in dealing with the optical department. They managed to fill a sunglasses prescription with the wrong lens, and even then they were two weeks late. On the second attempt the prescription was correct but one of the lens was scratched. They were professional in dealing with one very angry corporate member, but come on, lets pull it together CostCo. This is a management issue that reflects badly on all the departments, which is a shame.

Prices are good. Fine jewelry prices are excellent. Here is why I say that. All my items appraised for almost double the purchase price. Returns or replacements for anything in the store, including jewelry, is the best policy in retail. Not to mention its fast and easy. This store has a lot of organic foods in all departments. Just wish they had a scan and check-out app like Sams Club :-) However, the lines move fast and all the employees are nice, work hard and fast!

Nice store. Did not have the grocery items I find at other Costco stores. Had a very neat special display of unique dishes by a special vendor. Computers on display did not seem to be up to par as other Costco stores -- I wanted to suggest one to a friend with me but it was not there. Gas station was easy to use and not all jammed up. Getting out of the parking lot was quite a chore for an out of towner. Better exit signage would help.

Optical department is not good. I purchased a pair of glasses and had to have it adjusted after a few months of use. The person there tried to adjust it and could not. Then she said that they would not provide a replacement since it was my fault that it was bent. She also seemed like she was irritated (at me?). I went to another Costco optical department and they fixed it on the spot and was even cheerful during the whole time!

Great for bulk shopping and good prices. Lots of interesting food choices and always fresh. Youll also find other warehouse items such as clothing, housewares, and even appliances. Great place to buy good and cheap tires. Gas is also cheap for members. Costco can get extremely crowded, especially on the weekends. The parking lot is large but Ive had trouble parking on the weekend.

I enjoy shopping here, it is clean and well kept. I would have given it 5 stars but the management needs work. They are not too customer friendly. They used to offered a fax in pick and pull, but they kept increasing the minimum amount as the management didnt want to provide the service. As always the return policy is great and they sell high quality merchandise.

I like costco but my last shopping trip there was far from enjoyable. As i went to pay and they do not accept mastecard ?? They only will take American express?? I use the card for my rewards and it is unacceptable that a company as larg as costco to not take MasterCard as a form of payment. I will no longer shop there as sams club takes all forms of payment.!!

The staff was vary friendly and helpful Costco only has high quality products at great prices which is why it is one of my favorite places to shop and the food court food is awesome and so cheap I fed me and my wife for only 8 dollars and you can buy a hole large pizza with lots of toppings for only 10 buck so great place to shop

Dont go on the weekend, and do use the self-checkout lanes. Good deals on anything you want to get in bulk, from rice and sugar to batteries. Also good deals on electronics and clothes, but not a crazy selection. I urge you to look at the car buying service - I saved $1200 on THE dealer invoice price for being a member. Do it!
