Every store in this chain has slightly different items but all stock basic things. Every time I have been to this location, and I go at least once a week because I live less than a mile away, it is clean. The clothing department is frequently rumpled, but if you go early, it is organized. You can actually see customers making a mess. You cant expect a clerk to be there all day cleaning up after these people. Gotta say that I have seen the same mess at the upscale places at Tysons and Tysons II. The deli people are very accommodating. I was looking for thin sliced pre-packaged ham without the attached turkey pack, and I asked the deli guy. He was cleaning up to close. He came out and looked with me, and when we couldnt find any, he opened up and gave me a slice of honey ham to try out before slicing up my order. The staff will help you out if you are polite and not rude to them. I have stopped to say hi to staff I see frequently, and they have all been very helpful -- calling around to find an item that they dont have or have run out of; hauling out the lift to get items down from the top storage; schelpping stuff out to the car when I had an injury. If you are rude to people, you shouldnt expect them to love you back. The customers, yeah, some are third world. But, frankly, no worse than the pencil necks and self important folks who shop at the "competitor with a C" down the road at Pentagon Center. I belong to both store chains because I shop where I happen to be when I have time. The C stores may have more registers open, but there are always looooooong lines, the parking lots are chaotic, the customers are pretty rude and self-serving, and they are not particularly well organized either. Shop where you like, but dont expect a "warehouse" store to be a personalized boutique. Love my local BJs. Hi guys!

The customer service is absolutely horrible. The previous review is correct - dont call or youll be placed on hold forever. The lines are long and slow. They rarely have more than 3 registers open. The stock people and employees wandering about the store are not helpful. They often carry on loud and inappropriate conversations together and cant be bothered to take your question. They use the ledges/food in the meat section to sit and and chat - blocking the area and of course SITTING on the food. On more than one occasion they have stocked spoiled food (like visably molded cheese, meat and milk days past expiration). Management is not helpful when you call or go in to complain. Good luck trying to get them to make good on their money back membership guarantee. Awful, awful, awful. If youre looking to join a wholesale/bulk discount grocery store, definitely go with the competitor (starts with a C). The other one is terribly inconvenient for me to get to, but for the frustration I save myself, its worth it. 1 star because 0 wasnt an option.

Better avoid this place! Terrible Store. Very rude workers. I dont even want to give one star to this store. Customer representetives are very unprofessional, they dont even know how to do their work, most important of all they are extremely rude. They act like they are doing a favor for you, like they are going to pay you for the service "not you are paying them". They dont want to do the things the way you ask, they wanna do what ever they just want to do. They dont even know how to talk appropriately with the customers, and I am not really sure they understand English. I end up fighting with the guy and left the store. I went to Springfield Plaza store the next day, asked for the same thing I was asking in the BJs store, they did whatever I want right away without any problem. They did not even ask the stuff that the rude guy in Bjs was asking me. Better avoid this place! Or if you wanna deal with rude and very morose people with a lack of English, and if you wanna go crazy this is the exact place for you

Tire center! STAY AWAY!!! Do you ever wonder why is not busy? Only 1 person working , for example Costco has 6 and is always busy! I found out the hard way. Bought new tires, went 3 times to do the balance right, at some point one of the guys was telling me it might be from the alignment. Never heard that story but since i have lifetime alignment i did it an went again. Had a nail, they fixed it but was leaking from the fix. Had to go again..... Had another nail.... went there and the guy was telling me that the 2nd shift guy didnt show up. He were there since 9 am. It was little after 4 pm. He need to fix one car and go.second time i went... The guy took the tire off, let the air out and spray with soap solution. He was telling me its not leaking. How it will leak since no pressure inside. He plug it now my BALANCE is OFF Need to go again. Im done with BJs.

There are a lot of disappointing aspects to this store. We first tried a membership over 10 years ago and discovered that it just wasnt worth it. Prices not very good, rude staff, long lines, difficult to get into parking lot, etc etc. Through the years afterwards they kept sending me offers for a free trial membership. After 7 years I went in to see if things had changed. They told me I was not a "new member" because I had been a member 7 years ago and I couldnt try for free. Recently I bought a Groupon for 60 day free membership. They tried to tell me that the 60 days started when I paid Groupon, not on the day I walked into BJs with it. They said I would get 2 weeks instead of 60 days. I showed them where it was clearly written that the 60 days starts when redeemed at the store. BJs - if you dont want to honor the promotions you put out, DON"T PUT OUT PROMOTIONS.

I had to replace tires on my Rav 4. This was my first time at BJ auto care center I arrive at 9:15 am Saturday May 11th, no long lines. Customer service Provided by the manager was excellent. Recommendations re tires size, tread, type, load size excellent. Whole procedure roughly 1 hr. Post procedure Front tires great Unfortunatley Springfield Toyota who had previously replaced my tires had placed incorrect tires on the rear wheels. I returned to BJ today May 16th and had both rear tires changed. Once again Manager was on hand and service excellent. Kudos to BJ auto car care center

Came here for the 1st time with a 2 mo trial just out of curiosity. The store was very unorganized and dirty. Especially the clothes section was difficult to browse! The customer service was horrendous!! Interacted with about 3 reps and they were rude, unprofessional, nearly yelled at me when i didnt advance in line fast enough. Also noticed how they treated other customers equally bad. i am a Costco member and am happy there but was curious w the product selection at BJs. will never EVER step back in there, most definitely not at this location!!!
