Great experience with Napaj - he spent 2 hours with us to isolate the best shoes. We went through their questionnaire and lab, got some neat data and analysis on how we run and what type of shoes we needed (for me, problem was shin splints) and Napaj patiently answered all of our questions. Fantastic experience - we were planning to visit two other stores before we made a purchase but we were already satisfied with the price and service here, so we bought our shoes on the spot and saved a few hours of shopping. Other reviews mention aggressive upselling of VIP, but we did not have that experience. Near the end of our visit napaj mentioned their $20/year VIP program for a 10% store-wide discount, but it was a casual mention and we didnt feel pushed to join. Our total purchase was over $200 so we did join VIP and ended up saving more than the $20 it cost to join. We will definitely be back

Mom has a vip membership there, and got a pair of shoes for Christmas, but started wearing them afterwards. Not even 2 months later the shoes were falling apart and she took them back to the store. So the guy at the register ignored her for five minutes and then told her she couldnt return the shoes. So she talked to the manager, after a long wait, and she did the same exact procedure as the first guy, just to say that my mom was 2 days over the return limit. On top of that, she has been wearing a pair of shoes for around 2 years, and they havent torn or anything. If you want good customer service youre at the wrong store. summary, youll pay extra money to get defective products that you cant return as a vip. Shes cancelling her membership there, and now knows you can get higher quality shoes at a cheaper price elsewhere.

I love road runner sports. They are helpful. They are knowledgeable. The VIP program is phenomenal. So here is the deal- I have a very bad foot. I have had multiple surgeries. I always used the Brooks Beast, but then they changed the design. So I switched to Asics Stabil. Then they changed the design. Realize I have not been able to wear anything but a sneaker for years. So I went back to the beast and it broke the bottom of my foot. I couldnt walk for 6 weeks I was so bruised. The shoe store wouldnt take them back and Brooks wanted no part of helping me. Someone told me about road runner and so far it has been a wonderful experience. I have bought 6 pairs from them. I get my VIP discount, but more important is that if I try a pair and it hurts me I can bring them back.

Employees Sarah and Elora are freaking amazing!!!! The provided my husband and I with one of the BEST customer services Ive ever had! They were so polite and kind, they got to know us on a personal level. Their enthusiasm was fantastic! They gave and have great advice for us; especially, with what shoes to buy and how they would help me throughout my day. They are excellent employees, and great individuals! I had instant results with the shoes I bought, and they feel fantastic. I will return as a happy customer! Thank yall for your hospitality and kindness, I really appreciated it! Also, Elora gives great hugs!

Road Runner is a must for any serious runner. The staff here is superbly informed out their products. The selection of running shoes is great, especially with brands like Saucony, Asics, and Brooks. If youre a VIP member, you do get decent discounts-- but its not worth it if you dont shop here often. The only reason for 4/5 instead of a perfect 5 is that the prices can definitely be seen as higher than other places, especially when you compare. But still, this is my go-to place.

I shop regularly at the Elkridge/Columbia MD Road Runner Location. I always receive excellent service (even on busy days). Road Runner is a fantastic store; not only do I get a great custom fit for my running shoes, but I get the opportunity to try my shoes and gear through the VIP club. I recommend Road Runner to all of my running friends now for custom gait analysis and fit. I learn something every time I go back!

Shoes are really expensive .they have a fancy machine to check the right shoe for you.but that is just fancy and of no use. Also keep in mind that with VIP you cant return the shoes just exchange and that also 1 time otherwise staff wont stop over for you. Also remember they renew your membership automatically without asking.so just be-careful with this before taking membership.

Didnt have my size, only had one associate for the five customers there, couldnt order in my size without purchasing it, if I did have them order it in, I couldnt return it if it didnt fit without joining and paying for their loyalty program. They pushed their gait computing process that just made the shoe buying process longer.

Staff member came up to me when I arrived to put me on the list for getting my feet checked out. Then went to chill at the register with another co-worker while I waited for 10 minutes with no help or service. Total waste of time. Heading to Charm City Run, hope I have a better experience there...

Good helpful staff, but this location is understaffed and no one is at the register to help you try on shoes if they are busy or checkout. Been there twice recently and waited 10 min before no one was available to help and walked out. Need more staff here.

The staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The selection is excellent and the prices are similar to any other store. By the way, I am not a runner; Im a walker and everyone was very encouraging about that as well.

If you expect service, avoid this store. Waited for over 25 minutes in their checkin system without any assistance. They allocated no staff to the checkout counter. I wasnt there during peak hours so they have no excuse.

Supremely helpful staff and a great selection. Prices are marginally higher than online in most cases, but theyll stack VIP and military discount and bend over backwards to help you find the right gear. Highly recommended.

Helpful, friendly staff with a good selection. Always been able to find good shoes, socks and other running accessories here. Their fit soles are very good. Pushing their VIP membership is rather annoying though.
