Bought a high end hot tub here which we love. Vary friendly till the sale is final then slow to respond. Support after the final transaction goes down hill quick. The electrician they recommend to help with install "Mr Spa Man" was undependable. Strung us along for a month telling us he would hookup the tub once delivered. Once the tub showed up he said he didnt want the work. Left us in a rush to find a new electrician and we paid for it. Staff testing water very little help beyond what their software prints out. First 3 times in for water testing I had to give my information and hotutb specs each time because they said my profile kept getting deleted. Some employees even annoyed that they have to test your water. The few that claim them know about chemicals and water testing actually avoid you when you come in with a water sample. They would rather just be selling the next customer on a new tub or fireplace. Even had a staff member brag on the phone right in front of me to a coworker how he is working two sales with customers with money and then got off the phone to tell me he didnt have time to sample my water so he had someone with no knowledge do the water sample. When I had a question about the printout details he just kept telling to do what the printout says. Smart-Alick didnt even look at the printout he handed me. Frustrated with the whole visit I said ok and walked out. Vowing to myself and my wife that unless bullfrog forces us to go back to ace for warranty issues we will not be going back to ace in Edgewater. I understand customer service is not what it used to be but this experience pushed me a little over the edge. Im only giving them two stars because we like the bullfrog hot tub.

Salesman was generally unhelpful and didnt know much about the stove I wanted. Pulled a total bait and switch with the cost of a stove I bought. Gave me the price of the stove (3k) plus piping (1.5k) and install ($1100). I specifically asked if that $1100 covered all aspects of the install, and was told it did. Come to find out thats literally the cost for placing the new stove in an empty opening, nothing more. The install company wanted to charge extra for demo, pipe installation, framing, drywall, etc etc etc to the tune of another 4k!!! I bought just the stove, and used a local guy for everything else and saved a ton of money (J&J Fireplace Repair - Lothian, MD). If you are planning on buying a stove from them, dont even waste your time with whoever they want to use for the install. Shop around and find someone else. Id highly recommend J&J if youre in southern Anne Arundel.

This is the last place to ever bring your business I unfortunately bought a Wood insert From the edgewater store and I spent 6,000 on it I had to deal with bates and switch and lies and wish I had never walked into there door Ace Hardware ! The employees Dwane , Becky, Paul (installer) Mack the service tec and worst of all Doug The owner of the Store and the store in sever a park Maryland.If I had to tell you all the problems I had with them I would be here all day just know this is the worst place to shop for a stove or anything else! I am really hoping this message will make a impression on where you spend your time and money please do yourself a favor and boycotted this establishment so you are not having to deal with all the problems we have too! I wish one star wasnt a option!!!!!

I LOVE this store. The employees are always very helpful and it is extremely rare that the store doesnt have what I need. They have an especially good bird feeder/bird seed section. Also check out the big ceramic plant pots - - there are often sales that make these the best deal around. Its not just these items, though. I find that Im going to this store pretty much every week to pick up whatever I need. And the sales are great!

This is a great store, that has that small town feel, yet carries everything under the sun. The employees are extremely helpful, always have a smile on their face and have suggestions and tips to share as well. They carrry everything from ant traps to zebra pattern gardening gloves. Gary in the garden center is the plant guru! Check them out; you will not be disappointed.

Great local option. Not as well stocked as the big box stores, but you cant turn around without someone there to help out. Fantastic nursery at good prices. Great Christmas tree selection in season. Drive around service great for buying bags of mulch, rock, salt, etc. Full service.
