My sister and brother in law bought a pair of bows last year.. Sighting the bows at my house later that evening, I noticed they were carelessly put together. The sight, the peep, they didnt even give them the correct spine arrows according to the length of draw and draw weight setting. If youre going to be a professional bow shop and dealer, it would be wise to set the bow up and have it in condition to be sighted in and ready to go hunting that day.. The main reason why Im writing this review however, is due to their lack of manners and costumer service skills. I see a lot of reviews where people are saying they are friendly.. It must be towards people theyve known for a long time because Ive never been in there where I felt welcome. My sister said she gets treated the same way as well. Last fall I was sighting in my shotgun ( on a led sled at 100yds ) and the ammo I was using wasnt grouping well. I went back and asked them about different ammunition, they acted like I didnt know what I was doing or talking about . They even said.. "Maybe you cant shoot.."... Did I forget to mention I was using a led sled? Regardless I did find the right ammunition for my gun and grouped a 2 " circle at 100yds. The last straw however was yesterday when I went there to buy a fishing license. The gentleman behind the counter was the same one I bought the ammo from in the fall, and the same one my sister said was rude to her as well. He had the same perfunctory demeanor I remembered. When he went to ring me up, he let me know that he was charging me an extra dollar for using a check card... Really?

I really try to support my local shops. I like the community and insight they can provide, but this place is not like that. Yes the prices are sky high. Yes there is a $10 minimum purchase for debit card. Yes, there is a $1 surcharge if paying for a hunting/fishing license with a debit/CC. Maybe I could disregard those inconveniences if they were stated up front, but add the lack luster customer service and its simply not worth it. All of that considered I made my hunting season purchases online or at the neighborhood big box. All said and done it was about $1200 in gear and essentials. Granted it would have been closer to $1800 if I bought it there, but I would have done it if I didnt feel like I was being nickel and dimed and then given lack luster customer Service. No they cant order parts for my Xbow, but I can and theyll install them. I just dont get it. I think they only reason they are in business is because they are the only game in town. I wont be going back there. The only reason they got two stars is because they do seem to know what they are talking about, but again too many things going against them and its all things they could reverse with some solid leadership and customer service practices.

Great shop. Im new to bow hunting and they have helped me with everything from setting up my bow to answering my newb questions. (bought my bow used from a friend and they have helped me as if I bought from them) Its nice to have a place local that you can go to to and get everything you need as well as talk to people who actually hunt and know what they are talking about.

I like to support my local stores, but when the staff is rude (i.e. "Do you even know what youre looking for?") and tells me they dont carry much of what I was looking for because "1% of people buy that" but they were out because the guy in front of me bought the last of it... Ill take my business elsewhere, thank you.

Very unpleasant,Owner does not know the rules for firearms transfers. He applies his own interpretation, loses paperwork and trys to blame buyer.Better off with someone else,no games no guess what rule we will apply today. He is better off with bows.Leave the firearms to the real pros.

Concur...great shop and friendly staff. Chuck fit me to a new Diamond and took the time to explain the intricacies of new bow technology. I had lots of questions and he was more than happy to answer them in whatever detail I desired. Recommend.

Awesome experience with these guys! Chuck helped set the wife up with her first bow, showing her all the basics & helped us with a new crossbow that wasnt bought there. Well definetly be going back for any of our archery needs will we live in MD!

Great place, I shop here frequently. Staff is knowledgable and pleasant to do business with. They are fair priced on merchandise and will not BS you. I recommend all my buddies to get any bow maintenance or work done through here.

Nice staff with good service. Has a good (real) Bow tech onsite. Not some department store guy who had 4 hours of video training who now thinks he can mess with your $1000+ bow. Only 4 stars due to lack of selection for hunting.
