I have become accustomed to purchasing Aunt Bessies chitterlings from Safeway. Unfortunately, I could not find them this week. While Clinton is my home store, I was shopping in the Brandywine store this past Friday. There were none in Brandywine. I asked one of the butchers if they had any because that is what I usually buy. He informed me that Uncle Lous was all they carry, with no other explanation. If I have any say-so in your purchasing power, would you PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE not offer Uncle Lous product to your consumers. It is NOT as good a product as Aunt Bessies. Their product is deceiving, and I would rather purchase Aunt Bessies. I will NEVER buy Uncle Lous again; therefore, to buy my chitterlings, I will purchase them elsewhere. Keep in mind, there is a large Black community of purchasers with buying power who buy these products. Only those products that are good, will sell!!! Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

This is such a pitiful Safeway..Lines are often long and freezers have been inoperable on may occassions. Theyve even taken out the self serv counters stating that the self checkout system was not compatible with their current system..The workers are wonderful but there is a lack of checkout counters opened at all times. Corporate needs to immediately bring self checkout counters back to the store and management has to do a better job of sufficiently providing adequate checkout counters opened to serve the people. Stop treating Prince Georges County Customers asbif they dont matter.

Overall not a bad place. Better to shop early on the weekends before 9am. Meat department is helpfull. Deli staff is very helpful. And the Pharmacist they have are 2 of the best Ive ever came across. To avoid lomg lines go early or late. Bathrooms dirty. For the most part the same 5 cashiers are working and are moderately friendly, but Im not there to make friends Im grocery shoping. So with everyone with a bad review, get out your fellings this is a good place to shop Ive lived in Clinton for 12 years now.

This location has went downhill in the past few years. Several times Ive gone in and they didnt have enough cashiers to assist, even during busy holiday weekends. Many times customer service is closed during the day, and when you ask them why the manager (who is ringing people up) will say "because I am the only person running customer service but Im ringing up right now". The Upper Marlboro and Brandywine locations are much more organized, well stocked, and cleaner than this location.

I shop periodically at the Safeway off Woodyard Road in Clinton MD. I feel that if they added baggers like the Safeways in California, the lines would move much faster. The after work hours are horrible and you are waiting in line forever. I read the article in the Express and it stated how poor the service is at Safeway. Get baggers is my suggestion. I give them a rating of 3 out of 5.

The lines in this Safeway are long every time I visit this store. I moved into this area in 2010 and it has always been this way. Then they got the self checkout which helped a bit and it was taken out. If you dont want your time wasted do not use this store.

Needs to be updated. Its always crowded with at least six to seven people in each line. No self-checkouts. And never more than two to three lines open at one time. I sure will be glad when the Walmart converts to a Super Walmart. Bye bye Clinton Safeway .

Last Sunday had to wait 15 minutes in line. At check out got a coupon for a free quart of ice cream. When back to get the ice cream and waited 20 minutes in the express line. Today, Sunday we went back to the store but walked out when we saw the lines.

DONT GO TO THIS SAFEWAY!!!! The lines are way tooo long. Customer service is terrible. No cashiers. Slow as ever! I love Safeway but this one is terrible! I was in the express lane and the line was down the middle of the isle. Get it together Safeway

2 Cashiers at 9:00 pm, at least 8 customers in each line and no one came to open another register. No self service Register. Ive lived in this area over 25 Years and I try my best not go to this Safeway at night because of the lack of Good Service.

I went shopping late around 10pm on a Friday night hoping to get the Friday $5 specials. To my surprise I found everything I planned to get except one item. I was glad to see that the store was stocked with plenty of the sale items.

cashiers are very slow very rude. attitudes on all front end cashiers that I seen . 3 Lanes open lines were down the asle self check out was a line almost to deli . it is one of the worst safeway I have ever been in ..

Come in for one item and there is 18 people in line for on register and only one register is ever open. If you come, bring your camping equipment because your stuck here in line till the next day

Terrible smell greets you at the door and lingers throughout the store every single time. Also had to return a pack of bad awful smelling chicken breast. Stopped grocery shopping here for sure!

Sunday morning @ 949am many in line and only 2 cashiers. No sense of urgency. Poor cashiers have to bag and checkout. Store needs new management and hire employees strictly for bagging.

There is never any cash registers open, especially when there is an influx of people. The location needs to be updated and stock more items. This is definitely an outdated location.

Seemed really clean with employees organizing things everywhere. Prices were reasonable and our cashier was pretty nice. Certain products (seafood) were way higher than expected.

The staff was easy to deal with but trust the reviews... THE LINES ARE RIDICULOUS! Dont come here if youre trying to get in and out in under 20 minutes, its not going to happen.

Always just 1 or 2 checkout lanes so the lines are long at any given time. I would avoid this grocery store and go somewhere else. Peoples time is too valuable.

Been in there 2 or 3 times in 9 years. The outside parking lot leaves much to be desired. It is more the misc younger males makes you be on your guard.
