Came here due to a "best burgers in md" article I read and they were right. When I walk in a store like this it takes me back to the days of being a kid and stopping in the corner deli on a Saturday morning as i drove around town with my dad. And pretty much the best burger Ive ever had (outside of my own kitchen) . Been looking for a place like this for years and Im glad I found it. Burgers made to order so dont come here in a hurry. Cash only, and great service from some nice people. Ill be back again and again. And to the stuck up snobby reviewer, I think youd be a lot happier at some sanitized generic chain restaurant. But if youre sick of the homogenized trend of the same food over and over and over at every corporate hell hole like I am, then this is the place for you

Gross. Ive worked in dirty delis and restaurants. I wouldnt eat here if you paid me to review it positively, which is what what most these reviews must be! Its easy to buy cheap supplies, add grease and make them tasty. The problem is, the place is beyond filthy and with bargain prices come cheap gmo, engineered supplies! Common America, its ok to indulge but this place is a ticking time bomb for the department of health to shut it down! Dirty, disorganized, shite all over the place, as if going out of business. How is anyone eating here without peeing out of their rears after? Google, clearly isnt a reliable source for reviews! AVOID this dump!

Definitely not for the faint of heart, or those watching your health. But consistently good, cheap, delicious burgers and sandwiches. Theres always a pile of bacon next to the grill. The burgers are plump and delicious, order a bacon cheeseburger for full effect. Also egg sandwiches are very good, toasted bread, just barely runny eggs, perfection. Also, beware it is CASH ONLY. A little run down but a great place for a hearty eat.

This is a fantastic find. It doesnt look like much, but remember the book by its cover. Recommend the bacon cheeseburger. Sue is the cook and she gets super busy, so please prepare yourself for a wait. If you do, it is well worth it!

If you havent had a "Sunshine Burger" you havent lived. My favorite is a bacon cheeseburger with everything including sweet and dill pickles. Definitely a rundown place but that what makes this dive so fun.

Fantastic homemade breakfast and lunch foods fresh off the grill. Definitely recommend the bacon cheeseburger with a fried egg and hot peppers. Make sure to bring cash because they dont accept credit cards.
