Same issue as the folks on here. HORRIBLE place! 2011 Elantra. The day after purchasing heard grinding from brakes and rotors, noticed my control panel for the steering wheel or horn were not working. Took it to mechanic spent out of pocket 300$ for work. The very next morning I woke up to go on my family vacation and the car wouldnt start. Had it towed. Payed 100$ at the shop for a new started and right axle which warranty did cover besides my deductible and oil change. The horn was rigged up and placed under the steering wheel its a little red button that I have to find in the middle of an Emergency ! Smh. Got the car back still heard popping and grinding and other things wrong took it to Antwerpen Hyundai and they found the car needs a NEW engine and the air bag light has been on since purchase breaks and rotors less than 20%, camshaft has metal contamination, the engine is rigged up with all kinds of unknown wiring, the front axle and a bunch of other things. Basically financed my car for 11,000 and now looking at about $7,000 worth of work that the Warranty will not cover how insane will this BE !!! No communication and the communication U do get from the owner is a bunch of lies no resolutions. Wouldnt give me my inspection info or any info on the car for that matter had to do the running around myself like a mad man. The Owner even went as far as putting my Wife off the lot a week after we purchased because she told him to shut up he was feeding us lies and producing no paperwork on my car. The cops came and called the State Police and they informed me that legally I was entitled to that info Reality just wont budge. I have a Family with 2 small children. This car Is Deemed so Unsafe its unimaginable that this dealer has done this before and still up and running! I will CONTINUE WHAT I STARTED AND MY FAMILY WILL SEEK JUSTICE AND PEACE!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM THEY ARE FRAUDS THEY DO NOT NEGOTIATE THEY DO NOT CONTACT YOU THEY THROW YOU IN A CONTRACT AND WANT NOTHING TO DO WITH YOU AFTERWARDS EVEN IF FAULT IS THEIRS! NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN CONTACT BBB CONTACT A LAWYER!!! DONT LET THEM DO THIS TO ANOTHER FAMILY!!!

Went to this place to look at a 2004 Toyota 4runner. First off the car had flood damage. Everything under the hood was a pile of rust. The ac compressor didnt work. The sales guy told me I wouldnt need it cause winter was coming...um the defroster runs off of the compressor. I may be a woman but Im also a mechanic... The car had more miles than advertised and they wanted $3500 down on a car they only wanted $9000 for. That tells me that they had to put $3500 into it to get it running and want to get out of it what they put into it. I was able to buy a 2015 kia sportage from Classic Kia in ellicott city for $200 down. Then someone called me from reality and asked me if I had looked at their toyota. THEY DIDNT EVEN KNOW I HAD BEEN THERE!!!!! Then the guy on the phone all but accused me of lying when I told him I already bought a car. He asked me if I bought it from "a real dealership" they dont even take themselves seriously!!! This place is obviously just taking advantage of people who dont know any better. Do yourselves a favor and go to as they call it "a real dealership"

This is in no one slander nor bad mouthing this dealership. This is just me telling my story of my purchase experience. I test drove a vehicle and it had a check engine light on. I did not purchase the vehicle. Called back a few days later and said I would purchase the vehicle if the check engine light problem was repaired and if they came down to the price I was willing to pay. They agreed to my price and assured me that the reason for the check engine light being on was repaired. I verified the light was out before I purchased it and then I purchased. Same day about 20 miles since I purchased the vehicle check engine light came on. They did not want to help resolve this matter. A few days later the vehicle start to have a vibration and check engine light starts flashing. The quote to repair this vehicle is over 4K and they dont want anything to do with it. They basically reset the check engine light to trick me into purchasing the vehicle. Complete scam. Feel free to ask questions I would love to ensure this doesnt happen to anyone else.

Now, I first want to state that I didnt get my vehicle from Reality, I got my from Shan Auto. However Mike Thompson was my salesman and had to leave his job at Shan due to my vehicle. He now works for Reality and hes completely amazing! Not only did he promise to get me the vehicle I wanted after his boss said that I would not get it. He has helped me every step of the way. After he left Shan, they refused to give me the parts of my vehicle that I bought. Mike got right on the phone with me and promised to help me get what I was promised. Mike Thompson will bend over backwards, talk to you on off hours and do everything in his power to make sure you leave the lot with everything you could have dreamed of. So if you are going to shop at Reality, ask for Mike because hell guarantee that you feel welcome, not pressured and leave happy. As for Shan Auto, I wouldnt recommend you EVER shop there BC they are all about money and nothing about customer satisfaction.... Thanks again Mike for everything youve done for me and my family.

NEVER EVER PURCHASE A VEHICLE FRIM THESE PEOPLE! JUAN IS A BIG LIAR AND TAKING BLANANT ADVANTAGE OF CONSUMERS! THEY FALSIFY INFO TO THE FINANCING COMPANY. I PURCHASED AN EXTENDED WARRANTY. WAS NEVER ABLE TO USE IT. THE DAY WE TOOK IT FROM THE LOT, WE WERE TOLD ISSUES WERE FIXED. THEY WERE NOT FIXED. THEY TOLD US NOT TO TELL THE FINANCING COMPANY THE ENGINE WAS BAD, AS THE WARRANTY COMPANY WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ENGINE FAILURES. WE TOOK THE CAR TO SOMEONE THEY RECOMMENDED. THE PLACE DIDNT EVEN OPEN THE ENGINE, KEPT THE CAR FOR FIVE WEEKS!!! IT WAS A TOTAL MESS. WE FINALLY MANAGED TO GET IT TO AN HONEST MACHANIC AND THEY SAID THECWARRANTY COMPANY IS A TOTAL FRAUD TOO AND WHAT YOU THINK IS GOING TO BE COVERED, ISNT AT ALL. WE ONLY WISHED WE HAD FOLLOWED OUR GUT WITH THIS DEAL. RUN FAR FROM THIS PLACE!!!! We NOW HAVE TO PAY FOR A CAR THAT WAS DRIVEN JUST A FEW MONTHS AND THE ENGINE WAS BLOWN. SAVE YOURSELF THE BAD EXPERIENCE WITH THIS DEALER. THE ENTIRE BUSINESS IS FRAUDULENT. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!

I bought a vehicle with a bad engine. I called the next day to get a different vehicle or refund and the manager (Juan Carlos) and Owner (Daniel) told me know. My only option is to pay 50% according to the contract and that is my only option. I am getting the run around. Everyone keep blaming Carlos (repair manager). Ourisman chevy diagnose the vehicle and told I need to replace the engine asap before it seized (Low oil pressure/vehicle says shut engine off). It will cost $7000 to replace it. I paid $13000 for a car I cant drive or return. I spent a week trying to resolve it but I cant. The dealer do fraudulent State inspection. Dont vehicle there without a 100 percent warrant cover by them. They didnt do a tune up on the vehicle. Poor products, They should go out of service.
