Mt. Vernon Tobacco is the epitome of a neighborhood cigar shop. At first sight the humidor selection might seem a tad small, but upon further inspection the breadth of the carefully chosen and finely balanced selection -- refined to the Baltimorean taste -- becomes readily apparent. You can get a very fine cigar here, from a dark, spicy maduro to a smooth Honduran in a connecticut wrapper. Whether youre looking for a hearty torpedo to savor with a fine brandy, or a fresh Honduran to enjoy with a cold beer -- a true reward after cutting the grass on a sweltering summers day -- youll find it at Mt. Vernon Tobacco. Friendly, knowledgeable staff and a small selection of high quality cigarette tobaccos ( Stokkebye, American Spirit) round out the fun. • customer for over ten years • wish they had weekend hours

This is my go to cigar shop because I work in the area. There are larger stores in the area, but the selection of cigars is perfect for my tastes. The prices are on par with the competition. The service is always friendly here. There are no frills or amenities, but Im not looking for them when buying my cigars for the weekend. Overall, it is a great shop that fits my needs. Give the place a try if you are in the area.
