Please, please, take a min. and read this review. We used Flowers By Chris for our wedding and we made the biggest mistake ever trusting Chris. We went with her because she was referred by our venue, Pier 5 Hotel. Before our first meeting with Chris, we went online to read reviews. We couldnt find one positive review. This raised a huge red flag but figured our venue would not be recommending someone who wasnt a good vendor. Come to find out, the event manager at Pier 5, Lee and Chris are best friends which is why Flowers By Chris is recommended. After our wedding, we found out Pier 5 has been getting several complaints about Flowers By Chris about the lack of quality, what they received wasnt at all what they paid for and the really high prices. These are just some of the same issues we experienced. We can sympathize with the other brides on here and my heart hurts that we all had the same horrible experience. Chris turned out in our opinion to be a fraud! As soon as she received full payment for our flowers, (90 days before our wedding) she turned into a completely mean & different person. The way she spoke to us was astonishing. It took us a month to receive a transaction receipt for our credit card after paying the balance. In our contract it states that Flowers By Chris only does one wedding a day to ensure proper quality and service. Not true, we know for a fact she contracted two weddings on our same day. It was important for us to have tulips. I understand this is a "off season" flower for October but I was assured by Chris that it wasnt a problem. Then when we went through our trial 60 days before our wedding, Chris said no way can we get tulips! When we asked for money back because we were no longer getting tulips, (which was a major part of our contract) Chris said absolutely not, she will "fill in" with a different flower. When we continued to express concern, Chris told us we needed to stop abscessing over the flowers, yelling at us like we were kids getting in trouble. This is not how customers should be treated paying a lot of money for flowers for a very special day. Then we were told that it was a 50/50 chance that we could get tulips and we would have to wait 10 days before the wedding to find out. A week before our wedding, and still not knowing what flowers we were getting and many un-returned calls from Chris, she finally told us "good news" we can have tulips. She acted like she did us a favor for getting us tulips, never mind that’s what we paid for and was promised. We contacted another florist a week before the wedding just to see if we could get tulips and they were able to get them for us with no questions asked. That just confirmed our opinion as Chris being a fraud! The day of our wedding was the worst of all. We didnt receive sets flowers that we paid for. The set up was horrible. We didnt have pedals down the aisle. Our cake flowers were wrong. Our arch for our ceremony was not set up. The quality of flowers were terrible and wilted. The centerpieces were suppose to have water and pebbles on the bottom covering the LED light, luckily my groom caught Chriss helper on the way out the door and made him come back and complete the set up for the centerpieces. BTW… Chris just happened to be sick on our wedding day, funny because we just saw her 12hrs before when we dropped off the LED lights and she was just fine. My guess is she was at the other wedding. Her only sickness was her attitude! Our bridal flowers were delivered late so most of our "before" pictures have no flowers. We could keep going on and on about all our issues. Please do not use Flowers By Chris. We never write blogs but we feel obligated to share our horrible experience. Do not have your wedding or special event ruined by Flowers By Chris. We hope we can save one person from going through what we did

DO NOT ORDER FLOWERS FROM HERE! My boyfriend sent me flowers to work on Valentines day through Flowers by Chris. When the flowers were delivered someone elses name was on the card. I called Flowers by Chris to let them know I was given the wrong flowers and the woman I spoke with said as long as I was happy with the flowers I could keep them and they would straighten it out on their end. Then 10 minutes later the delivery driver shows back up demanding the flowers back. I explained to her that I had already called and I was told just to keep the flowers. The driver leaves, but not 10 minutes later I get a very nasty call from the florist telling me I had to give the flowers back, I agreed because I wasnt trying to cause a problem. I guess the florist didnt relay this message to the delivery driver because I got another call 5 minutes later from the driver demanding I give them back. Then the driver comes back to my work, has a horrible attitude towards our front desk staff, and takes the flowers back. In the end I liked the correct flowers better, but the service was disgusting!! They interupted me at work multiple times, they were nasty to me over a mistake they made, and worst of all they ruined the the joy of getting flowers on Valentines Day.

I am so sorry that I did not read the reviews before I ordered from this "establishment." I received brown roses on Valentines day. When I called to let them know, Chris told me she did the purchaser a favor by delivering them because I was not in the area. They did give me a credit for $45 dollars, which I attempted to use to have birthday flowers sent to my sister, who works in a school. Chris took the order for $70 and said that I didnt have to worry about the difference. Well no wonder. They called me at 2:26 to say that the school never answered the phone and they would just deliver the next day. I told them that was unacceptable and they said would deliver to her house and they were on the way. A day later, she still has not received her flowers. Today when I called to check up on the status, she said she was sick of this because they have been dealing with me for 2 days and I gave them the wrong address, wrong number, etc. I had to hang up on her because she was so rude and disrespectful. If you decide to use this florist, please know you take a huge chance of ruining whatever occasion you are celebrating. They are horrible.

Horrific Florist. If you could even call them that. My fiance sent me flowers. Flowers by Chris was supposed to send an arrangement valued at around $70 which is what my fiance paid for. It was called "pure happiness." Instead I recieved an assortment of foraged and wilted weeds and buds. Then when I called to get a resolution I was told I "just wanted to make a lot of trouble over nothing and that is what was paid for the order, nothing." Ruined the gesture my fiance was trying to make. I have been painfully ill recently and he was trying to make me feel better by sending me the flowers I love. What a nasty experience to have to deal with sarcastic old trashy people at this so called florist. Disgusting customer relations. Shouldnt be in business anymore. I never lost my cool and the florist never even offered to make it right in any way. Im thinking about a lawsuit. Certainly this must be illegal somehow.
