Visiting from Las Vegas, went in to buy a shirt, purchased a bike. Salesman Steve Tart was great, very friendly, and got the paperwork done in less than 30 minutes as we were flying home that day. My husband discussed flying back to pock up the bike in a few days, Steve said he would make sure the bike would be looked over snd made ready for the ride home. After getting home we looked into shipping the bike home and called Steve once we booked the carrier. He let my husband know he would prepare the bike for shipping. Plans changed though as the carrier dropped the ball so my husband flew back to MD to ride the bike home. My husband rode from MD to TX where I flew in to meet him. We then rode the rest of the way home together and our first stop my husbands business. As we pulled in, one of my husbands auto techs noticed our front tire was flat. Gave the bike a look over and noticed a leak under the it. Took it to Red Rock Harley (our #1 go to) a few days later for a once over and were told the Stator Wiring seal was leaking and had been for some time. At the time we purchased the bike we were told it had a 30 day warranty so my husband called Rommel to get it covered. He was told the warranty only covered the bike in MD! Steve knew we were from Las Vegas and we were bringing it straight home. We were NEVER told the warranty was only good in MD. We fought with the managers for a week and got a check for $250, the repairs were $800. TODAY, we went to register the bike. At the time we purchased the bike we were told NV taxes and fees were included in the purchase price. Needless to say, we got NAILED at DMV for excess taxes Rommel did not include. Our overall experience with this dealership is negative. We liked our salesperson but unfortunatley that was the only positive part of our purchase aside from our gorgeous new addition. I would not recommend this place for anything more than souveneir shopping.

I picked up my Street Glide Special from Annapolis Harley-Davidson Service Dept today. I had to have the hydraulic clutch fixed. It was covered by warranty, so the only inconvenience was not being able to ride the bike the past few days. I did become a little upset about the radio on the bike today. It has Phone Bluetooth connectivity, voice command control and GPS. These were features that sold me on the bike. The radio has a nice sound, but it doesn’t have Sirius/XM on it. I was told it did….turns out it’s a 400.00 option. I can see that as being a mistake since the CVO model does come with it. However the voice command and being able to talk on the phone thru Bluetooth does not work. You have to have a wired headset. StreetGlide, RoadGlide do not have options for wired headsets. That would be the Ultra Classic Model. I bought a Uclear HBC200 Helmet Communicator from Annapolis Harley-Davidson. It has Bluetooth. Works great with my phone and other Uclear HBC200 Helmet Communicators. It doesn’t work with Harley-Davidson’s radio on my bike. Actually no Bluetooth helmet set using HSP (headset protocol) works with it. Harley-Davidson and it’s salesman have known this. I have read reviews on line complaining of these exact issues. SINCE 2013……..two years. So the sales people lied about the features out and out. This should be able to be remedied with a software upgrade or a microphone mounted on the fairing. This is the responsibility of HD to make it right. I don’t plan on talking on the phone while I ride. It’s not safe. But if I paid for a feature it should work. Hopefully somebody brings a Class Action Lawsuit against Harley Davidson. In the meantime I am going to check out my options with small claims and send letters to Maryland State Attorney and Harley themselves

I purchased a used Buell Motorcycle and wanted to get new tires and the fluids changed. Rommel came and picked up my bike which was fantastic. They had it for a little over a week which wasnt too bad. They quoted me prices for the new tires after they saw my tires and their salesmen talked me into a pair of Michelin tires. They did not specify which tires, but i was too excited to get my bike back i trusted their decision. What I didnt know is that they charge full msrp for the tires which i could have saved almost $200 if i bought the tires anywhere else. I found this out after i got the bike back and saw my bill. I quickly looked up the tires to see what i bought and saw to my dismay that i could have bought those tires anywhere else for a lot less. I called them and asked them about it and they said that there was nothing they could do. Do your research before buying from these guys. - other then that their work was done well. Caveat Emptor....

I dealt with the store on 3 separate occasions in 5 years. My first time I was going to trade my road king for an Ultra Limited. They really tried to lowball me on the trade in value and offered me a crap deal. I went to Elkridge when they were still open and received a much better deal all the way around. The second time I dealt with the store was when I was looking for an aftermarket emergency tire repair kit. The parts people just looked at me like I had three heads until I had to find it in JP Cycles. The third time I dealt with them was to sell my Ultra Limited. The price they offered to pay was insulting. They were trying to lowball me by $5600.00. They may have an ok selection but you are going to get gouged one way or another.

I ave been doing business with this dealership for over 3 years now and have always had a great experience every time. started in 2011 when I traded my Dyna Super glide for a 2011 street glide 103. Bike was awesome, ran great and the service plan i purchased was really helpful when it came time to service the bike. this past Saturday i traded up again and got the new 2014 Street glide FLHX. they gave me a fair price for my trade and was able to work out the payments to what i could afford. the salesperson Frank i worked with really stepped up and helped me get the new bike out the door. They even helped me pick out the new seat i wanted and have it on order. I love doing business with this dealer and they always hook me up.

I stopped in on Monday, May 22 to buy a rain suit, well, you know, because it never stops raining here. Anyway, Edna helped me out, and went out of her way to give me advice, bring me different sizes to the dressing room, and was generally very helpful, making the whole experience pleasant and hassle free. Anyway, Edna was great and represented the Rommel HD dealership with more customer service accumen than Ive been used to seeing at other merchants in a long time. Ive always been impressed with the staff at Rommel, and she reminded me of exactly why I am. She has my thanks. Oh, the HD rain suit was really nice too.
