I urge anyone interested in purchasing jewelry to avoid this place. With the intention of buying wedding bands, my fiance and I went and have had nothing but horrible experiences. Their initial sales associate was extremely inept, spoke poor English, lied, and did pretty much everything wrong. We were there for over an hour after picking our rings simply because their associate could not explain himself to save his life. He constantly flip flopped between "rush deliveries," "discounts," and "free resizing." In the end, we got none of them. He told us different down payments constantly, and could not decide on when we needed to make them. After we finally ended the fiasco and got my ring ordered (they had her size in stock), we left a half hour after they closed. When my ring arrived, we went to pick it up that day. They had ordered the wrong ring. Shocker. After reordering it and the new one arrived, we went to pick it up. It was the correct ring, but it was covered in scratches. I pointed this out, and it was shrugged off. Excellent customer service. To make matters worse, when they asked for the down payment, it was 30% more than what they had originally told us. When I asked "why?" She, again, shrugged it off and ignored the question. Do not submit yourself to this kind of horrible treatment.

My fiancé and I have purchased all of our jewelry here and will not do it again. We are getting married on May 21 and I called to ask if I brought my ring on 5/1 to be redone in the rhodium plating if I would have it back before then. "Because of Mothers Day", they may be backed up and would not guarantee that I have my ring back by then but they would "keep me in the loop". Even after explaining that it was for MY WEDDING, they were unwilling to even attempt to help my situation. They also wanted $70. I called Jared, they do it in store, same day and only charge $43.99. Completely unhelpful!

Went in to inquire about getting the stones on my ring tightened- there was a Caucasian male with blonde hair probably in his 30s who is probably the worst customer service representative I have ever encountered- he was incredibly rude, unhelpful and not knowledgeable- after deciding to leave he actually said"good" as I was leaving to go across the way to Zales where I actually was helped- shame on him

I stopped by Kay Jewelers in the Annapolis Mall to have my engagement ring cleaned and for the 6 month inspection. I worried that I may not be welcomed because it is the busy holiday season and I was not there to make a purchase this time. On the contrary, the gentleman who greeted me was more than happy to assist with both the cleaning and inspection. I was in-and-out within 5 minutes.

Seems this store has all bad reviews but I had a lot of good luck with it. The associate that I worked with over the course of a few weeks helped me to pick out and find an engagement ring and since then has helped me to find several gifts. No real problems ever came up here in my case

The manager is a racist. When employees complain to HR they get sent home, suspended without pay. Must be the attitude of the whole company.
