AU has been my mothers go-to jewelry store as long as I can remember. We have gone there for everything from repairs to custom pieces, and what is best about AU is the sensitivity of John and Daniella to their customers needs. John has designed several custom pieces for me, and each time has worked through the conceptual process with patience and complete customer focus. I am fairly particular about what I like, and John has changed and modified pieces multiple times until I was happy. More than that, he has gone out of his way to wow with personal touches-- like making a dvd for me showing the process of him molding and creating the custom cocktail ring I ordered! I wear that ring and many other pieces he has designed or helped me source almost daily. John recently helped me to pick out a new menswear-style watch that I had envisioned in my mind but not seen in any store. His ability to sense the style and needs of the customer is amazing. After looking at several watches in both the store and in books and noting the elements I liked best, he was able to find the perfect watch for me and ordered it within a few days. I am thrilled with it and so glad I went to him for assistance. AU Jewelers not only designs and sells quality jewelery, but goes above and beyond to make the purchasing experience personalized and positive. I wont go anywhere else!

I recently went to John and Danielas au jewelers shop on a whim based on reviews I read here, and I am so happy. Im very hesitant to trust people and especially with my jewelry because of sentimental value it holds for me. However, I went to John with my wedding band ring to be appraised, and also to fix the prongs on my engagement ring so that it would fit as a snug on my newly purchased wedding ring. It looks amazing, and I wish I was able to post the picture. finally no gap in between, especially since my engagement ring setting has smaller stones compared to the wedding band. Now they blend in perfectly. He even cleaned and polished both rings for me. Both look shiny and sparkly. Thank you so much John for making this a stress-free fix for my upcoming wedding! I am in the store writing this review. I go to John for all my jewelry care needs. In May 2015 my daughter graduated from college. As a gift I purchased her a diamond tennis bracelet. She has a very tiny wrist so the 7.25 inch bracelet needed to be sized. Of course I took it to John. He was able to remove 12 diamond links without any visible markings. He then made the links into earrings in such a way that the links can be removed from the earrings and easily added back to the bracelet if ever needed to lengthen it in the future-while still preserving the beauty of both. John did an amazing job. This workmanship as well as the care they show to their customers is why I am a loyal customer and refer my friends and family. Maryann

There is a vast difference between Au Jewelers and your standard jewelry chain stores. John will answer any of your questions honestly and wont try to sell you something that you dont want or arent looking for. A great experience from start to finish. I was pretty nervous and had no experience with jewelry buying. In less than an hour and a few questions later, I left very happy and a few days later I picked up my custom made engagement ring (she loved it by the way). Would highly recommend them to everybody.
