An excellent place to shop! They have a great commitment to organic/local foods which is awesome. Having moved to Maine from Massachusetts the biggest thing I found myself missing were locally owned, operated, and supplied grocery stores. So when they first unveiled that the old discount furniture would be an organic local store; I was both optimistic and skeptical. But once I started going, if Tiller & Rye had it, thats where I bought it! The cafe inside the grocery store is also quite a force. They have so many different choices daily and the cafe is set up giving a simple and relaxed atmosphere. Go Tiller & Rye!

Poor selection, produce often actually rotten, half the staff is weird and rude (some are very nice though), and prices are absolutely unbelievably high. The deli is pretty good, but also really too pricey. Its terrible to finally have a natural food store in Brewer and have it be so bad. I didnt think anything could make the NLC look so good.

Tiller & Rye is a really nice local store. They have a very nice selection of local products and a great cafe where you can get prepared foods and smoothies. Many times I find that I can stop and get something for lunch cheaper than I can prepare it myself and its always very good quality.

Love the atmosphere here. Everyone that works here is very friendly. Prices are what youd expect at say a whole foods market but they have a huge variety of different things and a lot of local businesses/farm products. Would recommend!

Great selection of health foods, local products, and beer. Some food served at the deli counter as well. Prices are higher than your average local grocery store, but the quality and variety make it worth it.

Absolutely love this place! Cafe and deli are excellent and have always had excellent service. Great place to have a coffee and a meeting in the cafe section! Place is incredibly clean, bright and welcoming.

Ive found Tiller & Rye to be a little pretentious. They have a limited offering, most of which is overpriced. My son and wife seem to like the place, but they dont buy much. They do offer sandwiches.
