Horrible experience. I wont be going to the Save A Lot store in Brewer. I just had a ridiculously rude encounter with an employee of the Save A Lot store in Brewer. I was taking my Mother in to pick up some groceries for dinner. We grabbed a cart outside clipped Cooper in his car seat to the basket and put the diaper bag in the cart. We entered the store and a female employee who I believe was the manager immediately came over to me and told me to leave my duffle bag at the front of the store or take it outside. I explained it was not a duffle bag it was my Diaper Bag!!! I picked it up and showed her the side where the wipes go so you can get to them from the outside, the bottle compartment with a bottle in it, and the diaper compartment. She responded very rudely, do you really think your baby will need it while you are in here shopping. I was shocked and said I guess not. Mom took the bag to the car. I walked a few feet forward and stopped. Looked at Mom and she asked do you want to leave? We left and I wont go back. If the woman would have not been so rude when I explained it was a diaper bag it wouldnt have been a problem. I would have thought she was just doing her job but really I cant bring my diaper bag in the Save A Lot store.

Save-A-Lot is just what it sounds like . . . a grocery where you can save a lot of money. They offer good food, not always brand name, at a very reasonable price. The store is clean. Bring your own bags, it would be helpful. Ive referred friends and family to Save-A-Lot when they needed to be frugal. I would recommend it to anyone looking for the same.

Save a lot is good if youre not picky about your groceries. They have the same premise as Aldi but its not executed as well. I wont be returning because some of the fresh food I bought was not so fresh. Good for canned and boxed things though.

I have never had much good to say about "save a lot." The store has a general atmosphere of being un-clean in addition to some of the beef being a [product of Mexico] and the bananas are already pre-ripened for banana bread.

I bought cereal that had a coupon,and was accused of placing the coupon on the box myself. Basically I was accused of trying to steal 25 cents of a box of cereal. Needless to say I will never shop there again.
