I tried to support this local business, but yet ended up dissapointed once again. I payed a slightly higher price for fencing material on a wednesday (approx a $900 lumber order), under the condition my items would be delivered before the weekend. The two salesmen i talked to said no problem...so when 2pm on friday came around with no delivery, i though id give them a call, at which point i was notified a portion of my materials were out of stock...........What?? no phone call????being the nice guy, i said thats ok, just deliver the in stock items so i could get to work saturday. "sure no problem" the clerk said, but again NO DELIVERY!. These guys either have a serious in house communication problem or just dont care. They are a small business for a reason, they cant run it correctly!

They have some real winners working in the paint department on Verot. I asked for a match to an SW color. When I showed up, they had added extra blue because it "just didnt look right". Well, when you look at a color indoors under florescent lights, anyone would agree. I still use them, but its challenging sometimes...... Giving them 3 stars only because Johnston Street location is top notch. Shop there, not here, if possible for better service

Every time I come here I remember why I do my shopping at lowes and home depot. because doug ashy closes at 5 pm on weekdays so us working class people can not shop hear.

Material quality and prices are better than the big box stores. They also deliver and take phone orders. The pros use them.
