I like Rouses it is clean and the employees are great. Produce is always top notch and the meat is always really fresh. But today I wanted Gatorade and I went to the drink section where I thought it would be it wasnt there. They had fitness water etc but I ended up having to go to the other side of the store for it. I think the organization of the store is just not consumer friendly. If their purpose is to make me have to search hoping I will buy other items they didnt succeed. It irritates me when they do this sort of layout. So I probably wont go back if I just need a few things. Just one of my pet peeves in a grocery store.

Fair priced, good selection, less hassle. I would go to Rouses any day over Walmart. Their priced are similar and they have great deals. They have a good bakery, fresh flowers for the wife, your typical groceries, some nice meal options, and a surprising large selection of beer, wine and liquor. The staff is generally attentive, and there are generally more cashiers open than the Walmart down the street. The store is less crowded, better organized, and the lines are never too long.

A great no-hassle place to shop! Lots of fresh veggies and fruits, nice specialty bakery items like loaves of tasty banana nut bread and pound cake, Sometimes they have a really neat life-size "flower" of icing covering a cupcake. The liquor department has an impressive selection of wine, liquor and beer,. Friendly, helpful people, eager to please. You can find a parking place right away - even a handicap parking space, usually.

Im so tired of getting and finding expired foods at this grocery store. My partner and I have gotten to the point of shopping at several other stores with in the area. Weve stopped stockers numerous times and had to tell them about expired foods on the shelves. Which sucks because we live down the road from them and thought it would be great to live close to a Rouses.

A Louisiana owned supermarket in Covington that is one of several Rouses supermarkets in the area. We have lots of supermarket choices in the Mandeville/Covington area, and Rouses and Walmart Neighborhood Market are my two favorites. Theres a good selection of both food and spirits, and the prices are reasonable.

I go here because its the closest place to my house, I dont like it though. I only go here when Im desperate or lazy. The Rouses in Mandeville is fantastic. This place needs a face-lift badly. They never carry the major brand names you expect from a supermarket.

Was expecting soooo much more from this supermarket. Upon entering I was greeted by a stench that was unbecoming of a supermarket. Fruit and vegetable section was bare and over priced.
