I love Fresh Thyme so much! The butcher shop is serious goodness! The chicken brats and ground chicken are excellent for people who have a protien forward diet! Im a bariatric surgery patient. All the protien, chicken, fresh and frozen wild fish make creating unique, small portioned and freaking delicious! Recently, I do think somebody confused the recipe and made the Chicago Sweet Italian ground chicken wicked salty, but it was a one time accident and if thats my biggest issue....Im cool. Still fantastic options to choose from. They were cleaned out of chicken brats last time (making more while I was there) the dude behind the counter let me know what was finished and went back and hooked me up with some. Good service with a nice "no worries" kinda attitude. The bulk goods are all exceptionally great quality and perfect if you cook with your VitaMix. The probiotic/whey protien and soap section is predictable with pricing and no more exspensive than anywhere else. This is the perfect market to stop by a few times a week and maintain fresh provisions for healthy choices. Had a bad experience at the meat department this week. No help to be found, and when I finally got the attention of the guy behind the meat counter, I was told that the better quality ground beef I was looking for was out. His excuse? We were slammed on Sunday. This was a Tuesday. They dont get regular meat deliveries? Ive also noticed a steady lack of customer service for the entire store. Cashiers that throw your purchases to the bagger. Stockers standing around chatting up each other. Empty shelves. Fresh Thyme used to be a great place to shop. Not so much any more.

I really enjoyed my experience here. I went here for the grand opening week and it was very very crowded and festive. They were giving away balloons and the parking lot was packed. The food inside was great. Everything was fresh and they had a huge variety of organic foods. It is not a Whole Foods, but it is the closest thing we have in this area. I will be coming here over and over again for my healthy food needs. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that the employees were super nice too.

I like this place a lot. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because it is a little pricey, but the food is quality. I think the food comes from the local farmers in the area and much of it is organic. I dont think every single thing is organic, but its labeled anyway. I would recommend this market to anyone looking for a Whole Foods in the area, but cant find one (because there is none. lol).

My wife and I love going to Fresh Thyme, even with our four little girls. Best selection of organic, natural foods in the St. Clair area. The grass-fed beef is amazing, as is the coffee and organic coffee selection. But the cake-taker for me is the do-it-yourself peanut butter maker. Honey roasted peanut butter is my new favorite.

Fresh Thyme more like Salmonella Thyme. My boyfriend and I have been there twice. Each time my boyfriend has gotten fresh meat or seafood from the meat counter. Took it home, store it in the refrigerator, and cooked that night. Each time him or I have gotten sick almost to the point when a Er trip would be in order.

Excellent selection; includes organic and non-gmo products; especially enjoy their in-store products from the bakery and meat counter (sausages are great). Store personnel are very helpful and knowledgeable. I think that the produce at this store is the best in this area.

They carry a wide variety of produce and grocery items leaves competitors in the dust. With an inventory containing many organic and locally produced products and great customer service this store is beyond compare. Fresh Thyme could truly be a model for future grocers.

Love this place. Awesome timing to because it was when I decided to give up meat for my life and well being. Offer a lot of alternatives at this store for an affordable price. Entirely it is on the pricey side, but quality is there.

Love this store! Great specials and always fresh fruits and veggies. Also love the variety of bulk foods. Now I do not have to go to Whole Foods on Brentwood Avenue in St. Louis where the parking lot is packed and crazy.

I love their selection of chicken sausage - a healthier alternative to pork sausage (which they also have, abundantly!). The bulk section is also extensive. Their sales make it easy to eat healthier on a budget.

Great little store (little compared to a Super Walmart) with a nice selection of organic products and a wide variety of seafood. The decor is nice also, I love the Mason jars used as lights at the resgisters.
