Jeckyl and Hyde - I went in to Patinas and the guy who checked me out was so pleasant. I had such a great buying experience that I called a few days later about consigning. The guy, I assume the same one I dealt with earlier, was again extremely nice and helpful. I load up my car with the items I previously discussed with the guy and when I arrive at Patinas I was treated extremely poorly. This time I dealt with the partner of the nice guy - he was rude, insulting, and put me off of the store. He said whoever told me to bring my hand-made quilts must be crazy because all quilts are dirty, even though the other guy said it was fine. He complained about how people just show up without calling and when I told him I did call in advance, twice, he said "sure you did." Everything I did, brought, or said seemed to anger this man. Its a shame that the partner has to ruin the shop for me.

My mom, sister, and I are regulars at Patinas. We have all purchased several different items from there and have always gotten wonderful service. We have purchased dinning room sets, living room furniture as well as baby furniture, plus numerous smaller items. I have a dinning set delivered to my home and everyone involved in my purchase was more than wonderful!!!! We LOVE Patinas and will keep discovering many treasures there!!!!!

Lots of good finds here. I just got a bumper pool table. My ex got a bunk bed for our son. A couple of months ago, I found a nice set of bar stools for a good price.

Recycling furniture is a great way to save money. I try to visit Patina every few weeks. I have even brought things in on consignment with great results.
