This place is absolutely horrible. First thing that happened is we purchased a couch from them and when it was delivered it was two left pieces and the center piece they didnt order the right and we were going to have to wait to get the other part in. So we took part of the floor model which is used. They said they could not give us a store credit for this without speaking to supervisor which never happened. Then we paid off our table at same time we picked up our couch. Almost a week goes by and they say table has been on back order and we wont get it for months. Melissa told us to go ahead and pick another table and she will put 50 dollars towards getting another one. Which is not slot compared to issues we are already having. We chose the Brookshire pub dining table and were not getting the bench. She said it will be in on the 4th or 5th and we will have a 39 dollar store credit. Well now its the seventh when I called they said they never ordered a table because we never made up our mind and they can order it now and it be in on the 15th. Which Is unacceptable and we wanted our money back and would go somewhere else which they said we cannot do because of the fact we did layaway. When I said this is unacceptable and would like the number to the supervisor they hung up on me. After the fact they called back and when asking for bosses number again she said well Im the store manager. But apparently she is not willing to talk to us and help in a professional manner. This is not how you run a business. This is furniture we need we have been eating on the ground for the past 2 weeks now. All we have asked was to get a store credit for our troubles and then asked for a refund and they will not do either.

We ordered a sectional couch and chair for our living room. It was suppose to be delivered on Friday. By delivery day I never received ia call to let me know what time they would be delivering my couch so I called the store. The women who answered called the warehouse and explained the delivery driver would be calling me shortly, as they were on their way to my area. Shortly after I hung up with her the delivery driver called to let me know he was 10 minutes away. When they arrived they asked if I wanted them to take the furniture out of the plastic. I of course said yes since I had paid a lot for delivery. Once they unwrapped the furniture I realized that they had to assemble the legs which included the use of a box cutter, which I did not have. They assembled and arranged the furniture as I requested. The men were professional, curdious and respectful of my home and my time. I had an overall great experience with my furniture mart purchase. Only time will tell on the quality but the furniture looks great in my living room! Very pleased! Only cons: 1.they didnt let me know when they would be coming on delivery day. 2. Had I not requested they unwrap and assemble the furniture I would have been stuck figuring out how to put it together myself. (Should be standard practice included in delivery charge to have the furniture setup the way you saw it in the store. Makes me want to shop here again) Thank you!

My wife and I purchased a sectional in late October with the understanding that it was back ordered and would be in sometime towards the end of November. The end of November came and went with no phone call from the store with an update. So I called to check on the status, and was told that they were expecting a delivery and day. This day never came instead of a phone call with and update again I had to call to check on my couch. I was then told that it would be the end of December or early January. So I waited and called the 2ND of January was told that they needed to push back another two weeks. I asked for a refund from the store. They explained it takes 7-10 business days to get the refund approved then another 3-4 business days for them to cut and mail me a paper check. So basically Im going on three months with no couch and now to get a refund I ha e to wait for it in the mail. I asked for a corporate number and was told they cant give this information out. I believe it only took a few days to cash my check and my purchase was paid in full, I expect my money to be given back in a timely manner. I will never shop here again, and anyone who ask I will tell them to make sure to avoid this store at all cost.

If I was able to put no star I most definitely would! My mother and I came into furniture Mart in Covington on August 14 2017 at approximately 4:15pm. There was two gentleman and one older woman with grey short hair behind the counter. We walked around for a long moment. We came into a little office that we believed we werent allowed in but this very energetic lady with long brown hair stated we could enter. She asked were we finding everything okay? She was the only one that even spoke to us. The other individuals behind the counter when you first enter were rude and just playing on their electronics. We were looking for bed rails and the lady in the office helped us figure out on the tag what size was what. We needed a California king so we were unable to purchase anything at this time. However, I will never return here again because of the lack of service. Besides the lady in the office she was upbeat, and happy the rest were oblivious to the fact I entered or left.

I will never buy from this store again. I brought a reclining. rocking love seat, And I got the Guardsman insurance also, Needless to say . I got taken big time, I have a problem with the lever on the rocking part of it, I was told contact the Guardsman insurance and they would handle it. Three weeks later I called Guardsman and was told: that it is a manufacturing problem, because it has a one year warranty on it,OK so I called the store back and spoke to the manager{Mark) and was told:that he needed to talk to the DM,and I will call back tomorrow, Well his tomorrow was a week later when I called him back, I was told at that point someone would be out the next day! Didnt happen . I guess my biggest complaint is that they dont keep their promise. If you tell me that you will call me. I do expect the call,

If I was able to give them 0 stars I would. The Covington store sent a mattress over to my mothers new apartment with a utility knife cut almost the length of the mattress. The mattress was still in the plastic as my mother was moving other furniture into the house. They asked her to sign for the delivery. When she called the store to informed them that the mattress was cut, they told her that she actually signed that the mattress was inspected by her. She was not asked to inspect it nor told that she was agreeing that she inspected it. They have refused to take the $800 mattress back though they damaged it. I guess bad faith and negligence are just a common business practice for this store.
