I purchased furniture first week of March and waited a week for delivery due to my location. I waited in store two hours while my salesperson poorly "multitasked" between my order, phone calls, customers passing by etc. I reached the point of sale, there was no greeting or acknowledgement as she too was poorly "multitasking" between phone calls while she did call for assistance as the line was forming, her "help" convienently sat at the terminal beside her kicked back in the chair without acknowledging a single customer! I was told to swipe my card, not asked what my method of payment was nor did she go over my order with me or validate the sales order or delivery info/contact info. This order was to be financed so I provided proof of income which was considered insufficient and I provided contact information for my employer but no one called. I had my employer call and they told them they had to contact someone else then told them that they (Royal) had to call them to verify as if they were not already on the phone attempting to complete the verification step. I had to call back to verify my order was set to deliver there was no communication from the store to me in regards to whether my order was being delivered or what time. I called and was told would not know until day of what stop I would be. I attempted to use their delivery tracker via website only to see there was no information for my order so I called the store again and received no resolution. Finally day of delivery I actually get someone that cared and she told me my telephone number was incorrect in the system well imagine that?! My furniture arrives minus my nightstand but how when the salesperson told me this was the last set and I was in luck!! The delivery person said it was on back order and then my mattress was not what I ordered. I was able to get a manager to tell my nightstand was in the shop actually not on back order but why was it in the shop? Where was the communication? Am I getting someone elses damaged goods when mine should have been pulled from the floor that day shrink wrapped, labeled and set aside for delivery? I have been calling for my salesperson for weeks she is either with another customer or stepped away. Is she avoiding my calls because she knows she messed up my order big time? Where is the accountability? Where is the customer service? Why is it that no one is available or willing to make this right? I talked to at least two managers about my horrible experience even left a message for the VP without any resolution. I am definitely not happy with my experience and you only get one time to make a lasting impression.

Last week I came into Royal Furniture to speak to someone, for example, a manager and to my surprise, he would not shake my heads. He sais they were dirty. There is an old saying about people not shaking your hands when you first meet them. Nevertheless, this is not about shaking hands, but it is about keeping the customer satisfied. I have had my dining room furniture 24 months and had never missed a payment, in fact, I have sometimes paid sixty days ahead of time in advance. It is only three adults in our household that sit in our dining area since we have had the set. The first time complaint was the head of the chairs were split in the back which we did not notice until eating at the table. The second time we ate at the table, the cushion was uneven. The third time we ate at the table this year, at Easter one of the head of the chair arm came apart. Sitting at a table for approximate four times and things like this happens that is a problem. This manager should not greet anyone unless he is clean and he did say that if I brought the chair back in he will fix it. I wanted them replace as well and get two regular chairs sense this is not my fault, and this is the second time on these broken chairs. Oh, yell the manager did say it was the manufacturer fault. I must say the manager that change my chairs the first two times were excellent. The last manager was unconcern and again do not need to be a manager. Managers solve problems and create them. Sorry, Royal you will not be getting my business. Hey everyone I still paying on the furniture.

I ordered my furniture a week prior to getting it due to when I tried to pick up they didnt have it I was told would be in about 3 days later still nothing then I was told I had to pick out something else but there were only one king size bed and it was 200 more. I was so tired of the run around I said fine Im out of more money then I go to pick up because I was told I needed to do it that day because it was the last bed in king and first come first served , get to ware house and was told they didnt have the bords and to wait they come up with the bords get home pay someone to put it up 2 days later and I have half queen and half king bed I called to make a complaint and got the run around finally spoke with manager Kenny who was rude and said o well take it back I tried to explain we had over half of the huge bed together and I would have to take it back down pay someone to bring it back and get another he said o well I dont know what you want me to do about it finally I paid someone with a truck to take back pieces just for them to say you can keep them and give me the right ones and still not all of them so I have a half ass bed and not to mention the dresser that was broken for $2000.00 . I didnt bother to call back once I pay this off I will no longer do business with Royals.

The royal furniture location on winchester customer service is horrible, I had to cancel my furniture due to them not telling me when my furniture would be available and for the sales rep lying to me. They reel you in before you pay then once your payment is cleared your on your own. However I did end up going to the location on summer and I have been completely satisfied. The only thing I can say is that they dont update your credit report which would be the only reason I even decided to finance it but if your somehow late on 1 payment you will see your credit drop. Would I go back to summer location definitely but next time I will pay in full.

I did a very long research of prices and quality before going to Royal furniture. They are light years better than IKEA for about the same money and much cheaper than Rooms to go. They gave me free delivery when asked, but the biggest surprise came after the purchase- a week later they called me and said that I will be getting $550 back on a $5000 purchase because they had a special deal on a living room table set Ive got from them together with other things. What other store would do such an honest thing? Had a problem with two chairs, they delivered a replacement in a week.
