I stopped in Whole Foods to grab some quick dinner and browse the selection. The staff was very rude and reluctant to help. The female manager that was on duty was very flippant and abrasive. I was extremely unimpressed. I decided on sushi for supper and was very disappointed- it was not fresh and it tasted very manufactured. The hummus was not very good, either. I have always shopped at Fresh Market (on Bluebonnet Blvd) and never had a problem. Customer service has always been amazing and I have found the food to be fresher and tastier. I expect a lot more form Whole Foods- ESPECIALLY considering the prices. But, like I said, I did not enjoy my experience.

Ive been shopping at this Whole Foods for at least 4 months now and have yet to have any trouble with the staff. If I ever have a question or cant find something, the staff is a) easy to find and b) very polite and helpful in helping me track down a product. Much better service than I experience at Albertsons. Prices are high on produce, but everything else is actually more reasonably priced than youd expect. Be sure to grab "The Whole Deal" and check out everything on sale.

It used to be great, but I noticed that they have changed vendors or something. The chicken noodle soup doesnt have real chicken anymore. Its like cubed chicken?!?! and its mostly carrots now. The fresh Salmon cooked to order (near the pizza) is 2 times smaller than it was several months ago. Not the mention that they changed the blackened seasoning. I dont know whats going on, but the Iiked the food better before the facelift.

Ahh the old Whole Paycheck, as someone has referred to it as, has pretty good food. If youre lactose intolerant, cant have lots of salt, gluten, etc., Whole Foods should have anything you could possibly need to suit your diet. I mean, unless it is something that is bad for your health, then they wont have it. My only problem is the prices, though i can understand them considering most of the food is organic and of high quality.

Clean, and generally friendly staff throughout the store. Theyre moving around a lot doing stuff, so it can be hard to pin someone down for help, but otherwise, great food and friendly people. Prices are high, but you should probably make good food a priority--and this place has plenty of good food. I still dont understand why their tofu prices are so high though--thats kind of crazy.

I love the store but the old lady that runs the floral department is a @#$%^. She is rude everytime I ask for help. She flat walked away from me mid-conversation and wouldnt answer my questions. Everyone else Ive encountered at the store has been nothing but helpful and lovely. This witch needs to go.

I love WFs. Whenever Im looking for specific herbs or spices I know where to go. Great customer service. Ive never looked loss and not be assisted in a matter of minutes. The deli is amazing! The food is always so fresh and delicious! Its great that they stay open until 10p. I wish they opened earlier.

My wife and I live 3 plus hours away from Whole Foods BR and we always stop by for a visit. We love all the wonderful food selections prepared -ready to eat as well as the Grocery options. I also like coming on Saturdays for the numerous sample options such as the cheese tastes!!!

This place has a great selection of healthy, organic foods. Only down side is the price. If you dont make a decent living, I suggest you shop somewhere else. My girlfriend and I call this place the Food Museum; we go in, look around, notice the prices, and walk out.

This place is nice and clean. I love the people at the juice bar, they are so nice and down to earth. I can always find an employee if I need help finding something. A little expensive but customer service is great so far and that makes it worthwhile.

Conveniently located near the heart of Baton Rouge. Its one of the bigger Whole Foods I have been to and was recently renovated. Customer service was great and I like how this Whole Foods offers local items such as Kleinpeter milk.

Nice layout. A bit pricy though. Many of the things offered Ive tried elsewhere. The soap is great! I love the vast selection of oils like Peppermint, Oregano, Etc... I will definitely go back even if just for those items!

Horrible service coupled with old food on hot bar left to dry up to a crisp and topped with the highest prices around, and lies to customers about quality and origin of foods served = worst grocery store in Baton Rouge!

Baton Rouge doesnt have the largest selection of health conscious food locations so Whole Foods is my go to. All in all the store is great, I just wish they carried more certified organic produce and meats.

I eat here nearly 5 times a week. The staff is friendly and even know me by name now. I normally pick up a chicken breast from the meat section and have it cooked to order. Trust me its delicious.

A little on the pricey side, but always fresh and dependable. I love to eat at the food stations. Try the smoked mozzarella pasta salad at the deli!
